Not at all mate, I think looking for those patterns is really good. I do the same when I look into people. However I believe OIC has shown he has no real pattern to his nicknames. He uses random names, names he nicks from detractors or even kanji. Seriously though I think E3 for Phil is one of those countless sore spots he keeps with people and things for decades because he feels he was "wronged". I wish I could find the video but I remember he was talking about how his trip to E3 in early 2010's went. He was upset about how everybody else was out there having fun and going to parties instead of taking it as seriously as him and covering the games. I think he also mentioned how their videos would get way more views than his.

Phil is just pissed that they never recognised him as the titan of khantent creashun that he is and gave him lots of sponserships and money for being the most epic gamer. It's purely out of jealousy that other YTers continue to be part of the E3 coverage while they pretend Phil is little more than a footnote of a footnote in gaming culture.

I don’t even know wtf an elden ring is, why does he assume this is the biggest announcement of E3 and nothing else that gets announced matters? Like what kinda logic is this, there’s always smaller games announced that are great, this dude only ever cares about the biggest triple A releases

he really doesn't know any of that, his job is to be informed about gaming news and no he knows none of that. He also doesn't know that people have different tastes, not everyone is waiting for the next soulsbornekiro game... For me I thought the trailer looked cool, I may pick it up eventually but I mean honestly the salt and sanctuary sequel and Metal Slug SRPG surprised me more than a trailer premiering, that it being there or "announced" was nearly as safe of a bet as "will the sun rise tomorrow"

To be fair I think it’s safe to say that Elden Ring would be the most important game for DSP.
The gaming community is fanatically obsessed with From Software and will buy their games without question, even if they’ve done nothing but make rehashes for over a decade.
And DSP definitely got a lot of notoriety from Dark Souls. Elden Ring will bring in more traffic for him than anything else.

That's actually what I'm hoping for. Phil has become dependent on him, if he just vanished then piggy would go into a full meltdown. The fallgout would be hilarious. I think he will vanish when he slips up and gets doxxed, but prison or death would be just as convenient.
