I thought the dead chat was the result of him putting his chat in “sub mode”, where you can only talk if you pay to be a member. I also thought you only show up on the participants list if you type in chat not sure if it carries over from stream to stream.

Haven’t really been watching recently but does anyone know if he or his mods bans a member it removes them from the participants list?

Sub mode, first a 12 hour trigger now set to a 24 hour one, was the initial dampener, as the 24 hours expired for any non-wheelchair accounts who used his chat began to run out I figure he went on a mass "block"ing of anything that triggered his snowflake gambling addicted ass. You can block anyone in the chat too to see the same effect, just hit the three dot menu on the comment and choose block instead of report. Why wouldn't DSP do the same thing just taken to the extreme only to cry about low interaction levels later? He's that fucking dense and in need of another sweatymanjpg.

5:30 am PST blocking on twitter replies? Yeah, he's got a giant shadowban list on his otherwise moribund chat. Go fuck your wife Phil, tell her to wear the blond wig and tape a print out of the brazzer logo on the bottom right corner of the bed if you have to but do it already you fat moron, you'll feel better about the alimony checks you're going to have to cut soon when that time comes if you do.

This is why his "I'm not playing that because trolls rigged the poil" is so hilarious to me. How? Let's say it's true and a bunch of Kiwis found a way to vote in the poll. Why were there choices in the poll that DSP didn't want? It's not like they wrote in Code Vein or something.

The way trolls rig the poll is because DSP is only giving the illusion of choice. He knows what game he wants to play, so if any game other than that wins, then trolls are a convenient excuse.

I'm sure he gets off on asserting himself too, it's not like he gets many chances to do so.

Imagine this being your lot in life, having to manufacture situations wherein you "put your foot down" because real ones either don't happen since you don't go anywhere or do anything, or are too much for you to handle, like his toothless promise to not return to Twitch until they apologize.

I've never heard anyone talk about him acting like this with Leanna around. One of the reasons I'm sure he doesn't like having Katherine as a replacement mommy nearly as much as he liked Leanna for that role. Katherine avoids him, I'll bet. If it were the opposite, Phil wouldn't be so grumpy and lonely.

I'll bet that plays heavily into his continued saltiness over that loss, too.

Everyone always talks about how DSP is drunk every night stream. I actually believe it tonight. Dude is acting like a fucking 12 year old ADHD kid who had way too much sugar. I’ve never seen him like this with so little kahntributions.

He's not drunk all the time just like 75% of it. If its a slow day or something is happening behind the scenes, its a guarantee he'll need to refill his "water" bottle a lot.

Phil can thank his lucky stars that most of his detractors are just as exceptional and lazy as his paypigs. He's trying to be buddy buddy with the crowd that would hang him for all the stuff he said, more so now during pride month.
I remember when CWC tried reaching out on Twitter, his detractors destroyed that instantly by posting all the degenerate things he did and said in the same Tweet tagging CWC and the person he spoke to.

I got recommended this chick’s live just chatting stream because I watch a lot of weaboo music vids on YouTube. Out of curiousity I checked it out. The chat was moving so fucking fast that I couldn’t even read what few English messages there were, and she was getting superchats nearly just as fast. And all she was doing is just talking to her audience. You know this is just some Japanese woman sitting in an apartment and all she’s doing is talking. That’s it. That’s all it takes to get 1.24 million subscribers. And I know I bang on about streaming is cancer, and parasocial relationships, and bloo bloo bloo, but I thought I’d highlight this just as a comparison.

This is how low the bar is. You could say that no male American streamer is ever going to be able to pull fans like a moderately cute-sounding(?) Japanese woman so he’s at a handicap there but I don’t think CoCo is some expert gamer. She just has an actual personality which doesn’t have the abrasiveness of sandpaper and broken glass. Phil couldn’t hope to aspire to a tiny fraction of the numbers she’s getting.

What I've observed from my time dabbling in Twitch is that most viewers are just looking for someone who they can chill out with and basically pretend is their friend (which is sad, but it's a sad fucking world). Only problem for DSP is he's shown time and time again what a shit friend he is both online and in real life. The man should be coasting off of his early start but instead he just keeps falling lower and lower because of what a toxic shithead he is.

And that's why I watch DSP, because it's like watching a trash fire.

You would think, but if that was the case Phil wouldn't still be whaling, and someone here would have pointed out that Scopely didn't seem as shitty as any other company running a gacha for that reason - there would be a price ceiling. Except they are, there is no price ceiling, and thus are probably more toxic.

So they probably power creep cards at a crazy rate, or straight up obsolete old cards out of use entirely after a point using some seasonal structure or something.
