If you aren't prepared for that, it's the last thing you need, to say nothing of a random hookup that just exacerbates the problem.
-You just want to hook up with no effort or attachments? Fair enough, I've been there, but you need to examine what that says about where you're at right now. If you want someone as a human fleshlight, there may be a reason you're single.

There's also a sizable body of research to indicate that people know in the first 30 seconds or so whether or not they have a connection to someone. Your initial instinct is often the best reading, so the simple "wanna grab a bite sometime?" is actually a better gauge of compatibility than any dating/hookup site formula.

I read a quote in the paper from a guy who said he swipes 100 tinder profiles in the morning and again at lunch, and then by the evening he has at least 1 or 2 that want to hook up. Why don't these guys just do that?

They probably do, then ignore the ones that want to hook up. That way they can claim they tried so harrrrd but the "sluts" just didn't want them!

Right. *ahem* This is actually a bit of a pet peeve of mine, so I'm gonna rant a bit about how someone doesn't understand what some certain words mean.

No fucking shit there a bunch of open space out in the world. Overcrowding doesn't mean that we're literally standing in each other's personal space that we're literally choking on each other's farts. That's bloody stupid and taking the term too literally. When people say that the world is getting overpopulated and that we're unable to sustain more people, we're talking about the resources available to sustain a population. There's a lot of open space in Death Valley, for instance, but do you wanna take a shot as to why no one chooses to live in one of the hottest fucking deserts in the US? If you said "There's no fucking food or water or anything for miles and miles," then yes, you're absolutely right. This is the issue. There's a finite amount of resources and we are rapidly running out of them to sustain the world population. Why the fuck do you think world hunger is a problem? You literally have a shittier understanding of problems on a macro-cosmic level than your idiotic views on women.

Because it's not about women for them. It never was.

At least half that forum could get laid in 24 hours if they actually wanted to and put some effort in.

Look at it this way - the majority of that forum, if offered a choice between a loving beautiful partner (let's use a SH parlance and say an "8/10") or a face transplant with their favourite male model would take the face transplant without skipping a beat.

If that doesn't tell you all you need to know about their particular pathology, consider also the phrase "favourite male model".
