As a Britbong, Billy's presenting this in a way that makes it look like he hasn't just lost a massive battle.

Here in the UK, you can't be fired for your political beliefs if they're deemed ”worthy of respect in a democratic society” - in other words, I couldn't be fired if I told my boss I was a Labour member or a Tory, but I could be if I told him I wanted to gas the Jews or throw kulaks into camps. Billy's entire argument is ”opposing troonery is literally the same as Nazism so it should be legal to fire people who do that”, and this case has essentially set a precedent that disproves that argument. In short, Billy needs to go cope, seethe and dilate.
