I mean, to be fair not everyone experiences the same symptoms while on ADHD meds. Also, I may be mistaken but I think they can cause weight loss as in you have a loss of appetite. The opposite can also happen, as I know someone who ended up gaining weight on them. Then again, not everyone experiences the same symptoms as I've been on several different meds over the years and none of them caused me to lose weight. Although if Dream wants to lose weight I'm sure with enough experimentation he could find some normal pills that would get rid of his appetite.
I've said it before. Depends. You can take meds and not get certain side effects. Some medicine like risperidone/risperidol had a case that's still going for males taking it and producing breast tissue, even if it's rare, it's still an unintended side effect that some doctors chose to ignore consulting about. Another thing to note is that weight loss doesn't automatically equate to fat loss. That's a big misconception that everyone still believes.
