The typical SJWs are more like the ones who always wanted to be the bully but didn't have the ability to exercise their desires to be so; and when they get an ounce of power they project upon others that which they wish they could do. It's the classic example of the nerdy soy looking type of Hollywood or comic book writer who always has to portray the good looking people, the athletic people who hit the gym, and those who have broad social status out to be monsters or to be the bullies. In reality the high school jock tends to pick on other people in his social circle and they do the same back, the typical nuclear family isn't some insidious cult like group looking to 'get' others, they just want to be left alone and be normal, etc.. Rarely without reason were the jocks shoving nerds into lockers and all of the other tropes that are portrayed. The normal family doesn't want to Minecraft troons, they just want to Minecraft you if you try to troon out their preschooler.
We can see this same thing play out more and more culturally and politically with the advent of the internet. The aforementioned writers being a glaring example when we can view them on a more personal level. You can see it with so many groups, notably and broadly speaking, the "woke" crowd and all of its subgroups. I think it's less so a desire to take revenge on the world for slights against them, but anger that they don't inherently have power over others (like a hardcore socialist who suddenly moves to a place with lower taxes if their bank account begins to become fat and swollen like the capitalist they rail against.) They'll claim that some have inherent unearned power and that it's bad, but their true gripe is that it wasn't them that had it. Teigen, specifically, is probably just a "mean girl", with the typical narcissism and a myriad of other issues that generally are required to be someone who is famous.
