James "Kibo" Parry is a Usenet ancient. He became "famous" at least in Usenet terms for writing a perl script to search all of Usenet and immediately respond to any post where someone said "kibo." There's an alt.religion.kibology newsgroup too, probably long dead and full of nothing but schizospam and normal spam.

But as a read their articles i noticed they added some pseudo-scientific bullshit into their articles (what exactly - i don't remember now) . I just decided to revisit this website and got disappointed by stupid shit such as "conversion of copper into silver" etc ...

Zombo.com was just a parody of Web 2.0 sites getting massive amount of money. Not withouth reasons, 3(telecom company) later followed their model, advertising 3 and how it would be the best and people didn't know what it was but it seemed desirable. To quote a friend "I don't know what 3 is but I ready to buy it". - it turned out to be one of the early 3G companies.
