Weirdest site you found on the internet - Bonus points if still online.

James "Kibo" Parry is a Usenet ancient. He became "famous" at least in Usenet terms for writing a perl script to search all of Usenet and immediately respond to any post where someone said "kibo." There's an alt.religion.kibology newsgroup too, probably long dead and full of nothing but schizospam and normal spam.

I visited it since it had an article about an Indonesian pyramid. But as a read their articles i noticed they added some pseudo-scientific bullshit into their articles (what exactly - i don't remember now) . I just decided to revisit this website and got disappointed by stupid shit such as "conversion of copper into silver" etc ...

https://realrawnews.com/2021/04/hillary-clinton-hanged-at-gitmo/ says Hillary Clinton was hanged at Guantanom Bay.

The main other thing I know about these idiots is they routinely get bad reviews of their shitty "castle" removed from review sites.

Not as weird as it is interesting. Some guy who shits on posts made on hackernews (aka reddit for programmers and insufferable SV type people)

Zombo.com

I wouldn't say its the weirdest necessarily, but it is a perfect example of the arbsurdity of early internet material, and it makes me happy that its still up.

The site feels like some form of hypnotism or subliminal messaging that a supervillain from a movie would use.
Also there is the expose of Zombo; obmoz.com
Only in flash, sorry. And aNull won't allow me to upload vids during DDOS.
Edit: Fuck yeah! It went through!

Zombo.com was just a parody of Web 2.0 sites getting massive amount of money. Not withouth reasons, 3(telecom company) later followed their model, advertising 3 and how it would be the best and people didn't know what it was but it seemed desirable. To quote a friend "I don't know what 3 is but I ready to buy it". - it turned out to be one of the early 3G companies.

I regged the domain inadequacy.org recently to host an adequacy.org mirror and Google'd the domain to see if it had any weird history.
Found this piece of old web autism at https://www.kyzer.me.uk/essays/adequacy/ referencing the domain and checked it out on the Wayback Machine.

What a masterpiece!
