The more I think about BOTW2, the more I think it's going to be a disappointment.

I'm getting the feeling that they're not going to change much if anything about the weapon system. I really get the feeling we're not getting dungeons.

I hope I'm wrong, but it's just the feeling I'm getting. I don't think it will be bad persay, but I think a lot of people are going to be wondering why it took 5 years after it's all said and done.
I feel completely differently. Since they're using the same base world it is going to allow the developers to expand and deepen the setting. Which is exactly what they need to do to improve upon the original. There has been a lot of underground imagery across both trailers and I don't think that is an accident. I'm expecting a duality between gameplay in the sky and gameplay in cramped, closed quarters. The floating islands are likely going to be their own intricate, explorable areas and will function as a means of working around the Switch's processing capacity. What I'm saying is expect caves in the sky with slime molds to fire your flamethrower at.

the twitch mods being utter retards managed to get them into /v/'s humor thread.

Hell, I have a new PC and I'm using it to play hyper modded Skyrim and Paradox map painters. Nothing interests me and I'd rather play old games. Or get into other hobbies.
Oof, this is how I've felt about modern gaming since like, I dunno 2015? The vast majority of shit I play on Steam is mostly retro games and retro inspired because modern games just don't excite me anymore. I actually get more excited about modding my SNES classic with more roms or buying an arcade stick for my Dreamcast than whatever the next third person cinematic walking shades of brown cover shooter is coming out.

saying "it don't meteor, none of this meteors"? double check.
still, i've seen talks about people ignoring the fans, it's not that. you should throw a bone to them every now and then, that's what teasers are for.
Redditors all together in lockstep ready to defend massive corporations that own most of the media industries and don't give a shit about you. This same dumbass probably posts on r/communism.

God, I still remember the computer scan on the pirate homeworld. Prime's atmosphere and lore makes me hard, that ost droning ominously in the background. I will forever be in awe of what Retro's art direction was able to do with the shitty Wii hardware, the game still looks aesthetically vibrant.
One really cool log from the first Prime was the one that detailed the space pirate's attempt at replicating Samus's morph ball technology and they conclude that the morph ball can. not. work. No matter what they tried they ended up with nothing but mangled space pirates. It provides an answer to the long running question of how the morph ball actually works.
