I went to Twitch and went to the first stream that showed up that was gaming. This is what I got.

Where are the studio lights? What isn't normal about this? She has a relatively clean fucking room, a plushie in the back, a purple aesthetic going on. It's a cam over 360p. She did her hair, maybe? She's wearing a nice, clean, shirt. That is too hard for DSP. DSP would prefer to wear a grey shirt that looks like it has sweat stains rather than wearing something nice and clean.

Streaming is a relatively new modern job, people currently invent this profession and to no surprise aim to look good. I know Phil, baffling concept, dirty beige wall with bad lighting that makes your shirt look sweaty is a way better eye candy.

Phil, listen. You don't decide who people are. They're "just gamers" therefore CAN'T DO a certain thing? Are you on drugs, boomer? Do you livestream under a stone, oldtimer? If they do this full-time they're freelancing artists and entertainers, you fucking troglodyte. Care to take your job seriously at some point?

Fucking this. Phil is a "Professional Business Owner" except when he's asked to put effort into anything, then he's "just playing video games bro!" I know when I go on video conferences with the people who pay me I always use my snot to half-hazardly comb my hair back, make sure my spotty facial hair is nice and unkempt, then to top off the "bum look" I wear my favorite 12 year old stained tshirt.

I literally don't understand Phil's hatred for streamers that want to look and act professional and to be succesful. 1 thing that irritates me about him as well is when he thinks he's the leading authority on everything. Was late to direct capture/live streaming/Twitch, mocked anybody on twitch with the famous sound clip of " twitch is all about subscriptions! subscribe subscribe subscribe" and the fucker has the audacity to call him succesful literally after going bankrupt. He tries to use his excuse that since he's been on youtube for 10 plus years, he's been around the block but like another famous sound clip -slightly altered- dsp has done EVERYTHING wrong and NOTHING correct!

The reason people shower, wear clean clothes, and have nice lighting setups is to show a basic respect to the audience. Just like with a regular job it shows you're taking it seriously and won't waste other people's time. When you're sitting in piss-stained sweatpants and a greasy-looking shirt you probably slept in people don't think "wow what an authentic honest guy" they think "this is a boring lazy slob who can't even put in the minimum amount of effort to look presentable" and it reflects poorly on your content.

Yeah his take is about being all natural and traditional. It definately has nothing to do with him being cheap and lazy.

Flight simulator is going to be absolute dogshit if Phil plays it.

A huge draw and what makes the game fun is fucking around and the randomness of playing multiplayer at an actual airport.

Doing shit like reporting to tower, making up funny callsigns, watching assholes go 100 MPH in a hot air balloon and listen to them get berated for it.

Phil will be so afraid of trolls he will mute everyone and everything. This will also get him kicked from some because you actually have to respond in more realistic airports.
