They got papa Sony back up with all those money spend on ad and promotion etc.

Imagine Hololive get sponsor by some giant like Tesla. That would put those Niji numberfags on suicide watch since they just lost the “who is the biggest” battle.

but why? im not follow azki to much but she seem like not the type that make content that push company boundaries either , if she graduate and the next plan is doing the same vtuber sing thing under new persona with even lower viewer , tbh its sound like a stupid career decision for me...

Ok, here is my take. AZKi was a pure DIVA/Singer the entire time until very lately. She work alone and push out concert after concert. It wasn't until early this year did she start streaming game regularly and collab with Sora. Nowadays she even collab with others too. My take is that she realize she actually enjoy streaming more than she expected, which lead to the shift "Beta route" where the plan for AZKi to graduate around July next year (this was decided since the start of AZKi project. It's plan to have a "beautiful ending") doesn't come into fruition.
And since she got newfound love for streaming, why not do it in her freetime as a side project? If anything, she will have a safety net to pursue this side of her career should INNK somehow explode, as Coco had demonstrate how useful having a side account can be.

So, from Coco's stream: she mentioned an announcement (and said it's NOT about the 4th gen song) that she's going to make. Looks like a happy news, but we know nothing else.

Another thing: in her birthday stream management asked her to censure a joke, which according to some was about Hololive being a black company, but she didn't confirm it.

That sounds like rather horrible publicity given that Vei only recently joined Vshojo officially.
I'm still somewhat confused whether the originally planned 3 person collab with Kiara/Nyanners/Vei busted because of Vei getting cold feet from the backlash or cover blocking her. The information has been rather contradicting. If it's Cover I'd just expect her to not collab unless she gets over herself and makes an apology. If it's her side she's probably kicking herself seeing the numbers that pink cat got.

Or she could pull a Suisei and pass to Hololive, pretty sure any other gen will adopt her

They still got a fuck ton of sponsorship deal and and merch sell domestically, and retained brand recognition national wide. "Nijisanji" is the top 10 words in niconico for 3 years consecutively (#9 in 2018, #1 in 2017 and #4 in 2020), On the other hand, Hololive is 9th in 2020 and their growth speed is on crack right now so they might dominated the domestic market in 2021 too. Actually with news of Coco graduating and HoloAlt which put them on a lot of people mind I'm pretty sure they would.
