To be fair, Jose doesn't actually play him. He gets in Phil's lobby and uses some trick to make the lobby crash to annoy Phil. I don't think he's ever actually played a match, and I don't think he's ever missed a Street Fighter stream doing his schtick. So he's kind of a loser too, but an effective troll.

For those that unaware of the Mama Burnell dictated Ten Year Plan, or would like a quick refresher, the great MrHuth Stuff has the video clipped from DSP's post Secret Wedding/meal journal vlog.

After DSP declines Mama Burnell's offer to fund a honeymoon for DSP and his new Large Adult Wife, she pulls DSP into a Real Talk discussion regarding his shit financial situation and his non-existent plans for the future.
The result was The Ten Year Plan . . . and Mama Burnell giving DSP a large chunk of money to pay his back taxes after his ungrateful audience refused to step up and did not give $5,000 in tips before DSP's secret wedding vacation.

As hilarious as Jose's version of trolling DSP is, if I had some guy follow me around online so he could crash the lobby constantly I'd probably call him a waste of life too. That's why Jose is funny in the first place, what he's doing to DSP is so mind-numbingly irritating.

The thing that most people dont see in streams, are floors below 6, 6 is where you really start seeing some wild shit.

Phil is just to scared to realize he sucks, because when the game does its initial placement of which floor you should start at, the fight isnt easy, the ai opponent they throw at you will run your shit.

Been in the Heaven floors on PC since day 1 of release, there's still shitters in Heaven. I think they might have wintraded to get there but in any case there's a lot of people who play like they've never played a GG/fighting game before, shit's super accessible.

I have only got as high as floor 9, but like Need Help With Tips says, there's a lot of people who don't know what they are doing.
It will probably settle eventually, because casuals will stop playing and others will learn match-ups better. But atm a gimmick can carry you quite high.

I think Phil would do alright versus the AI, but his incompetence has surprised me before.

Of course he forgot. There was literally nothing different about his wedding night compared to every other night he has: Eat fast food, engage drunk pig mode, gintweet until 3am or later whenever he passes out.

I look forward to when he memory-holes ever promising a proper honeymoon for Kat, too. Can't afford it, dood. Nothing he could do. The honeymoon will inevitably be a "staycation" in the khando where he spends yet another night ignoring her in favor of fast food, drunk pig mode, gintweeting, etc.
