I 100% agree with this. From what I've seen Wilbur tries way too hard to be woke, and him telling tommy it's his job, etc. is a really shitty thing to do. Maybe it was just on stream so he could put up an act and please the stans, but even still, throwing what is supposedly one of his closest friends under the bus just to please the cloutchasing kids.

I also agree with you about Tommy, and I feel bad for the guy because from what I've seen he started Minecraft back in 2019 when it was first getting started again. I'm talking the likes of Lazarbeam, PewDiePie, LukeTheNotable, and to a lesser extent Dream, who all played quite a part in the "revival" of Minecraft as it is so called. None of these YouTubers have a batshit crazy fanbase (Dream would begin having one in 2020) so Tommy probably saw an opportunity to blow up in Minecraft content, which he was already doing to a lesser extent. From there he used the explosion of popularity in Skyblock to grow his channel, which eventually led to SMPEarth (where I believe he met other mcyt) then to the Dream SMP. The poor kid got pulled in too deep for his own good, and now it's beginning to show that he wasn't prepared for such a massive "standom".
