Jamie T is basically the only famous musician on that list, and he's famous for one song from 15 years ago. Suki Waterhouse is a model who makes music as a vanity project and has never charted. Turbogeist was the band Luis was in about 10 years ago, and that never got anywhere despite also including Mick Jagger's son.

Luis Felber did help found the Young Turks, which went on to become a genuinely well regarded record label, but at the time he was involved it seems it was still just a club night/illegal rave. He's also trying to launch himself as a solo artist called Attawalpa, although his official twitter account only has 300 followers, 700 likes on facebook and 100 followers on SoundCloud. Going off his bandcamp he also lists collabs with

"artists such as Misty Miller, Jennifer Herrema, Mick Jagger, Lauren Spiteri, Shame, Lokkhi Terra and Jamie T, Attawalpa has decided to step out of obscurity and into the light."

Mick Jagger presumably because he was mates with Mick Jagger's son and Lauren Spiteri is the niece of Sharleen Spiteri from the 90s band Texas. The others are either failed musicians or indie darlings that are well regarded by critics but unheard of.

I'd hazard a guess and say he's either from a pretty privileged background to be mixing with this crowd, or is a professional grifter. I think he's probably also lying about being 32, given that would have made him 15 when Young Turks was founded as a label.

There's also mention of Luis in Vogue Italia's November 2010 edition, talking about how Turbogeist had just played a private show for Mazdack Rassi in the basement of Milk Studios in NYC.

Felber is a pretty unusual surname in the UK so I did some more searching and found there is a Roger Felber of Hampshire who's about the right age to be Luis's dad and "from 1970 to 2016 Roger Felber was a founder or shareholder in a number of companies in the money market. Firstly Anthony Mack, which became part of TP ICAP, now one of the largest currency brokers in the world and, from 2004 to 2016, the Latin America regional Brokerage for London listed CMC PLC. He has been the owner or part-owner of a number of engineering and media companies and during the 1970s and 1980s ran the airline Air Florida as well as chairing the London listed Parkfield Group PLC. In the 1990s and 2000s he partnered with Private Equity companies 3is and Dresdner Kleinwort Benson. In 2008 he led the purchase of British Pathe from the Daily Mail Group, taking over as CEO. " He has previously listed several country manors in Hampshire as his address.
Oh and

Five years ago, Roger Felber lost everything when his Parkfield conglomerate went bust after its entertainment business started eating up cash. Three years ago, Felber was back - with 3i, Europe's largest private equity supplier, on his team.

In the interim, he'd done 'wheeling, dealing and some consultancy,' says Felber. If you live in NYC and have juice banging chicks or getting a hot girlfriend is not difficult.

Years ago guy friend of mine in NYC (who had a lucrative job in the music industry) commented it was far easier for him to find a woman he was physically attracted to than one he found mentally or intellectually engaging.
