Star Wars Griefing Thread (SPOILERS) - Safety off

Then I wondered if I was the only one who was retarded, until I found this 23 year old thread on the topic

That was actually something people were talking about back then. I know as I walked out of the Midnight Premiere with a very confused crowd (as to what we'd just seen), that was one of the topics of conversation. I for one was convinced that it was probably some kind of trick, because within the limited scope of only having seen 1/3 of the PT's story, it sure seemed ridiculous to have the Emperor start out as a a guy in a hood with a different name (who was obsessed with trade routes) that pretty much otherwise looked exactly the same, and surely Lucas was going to pull some kind of clever switcheroo downfield...but of course that wasn't really on the radar, and as you can see from that forum you linked, people's bizarro theories were all over the map at the time.

I'm wondering whats going on with Travelers Tales. Like....how's the progress of the game? It's been 84 years

The problem is, no matter how good the game might turn out (if it ever comes out that is, and all the delays are suspicious), it's going to have over 1/3 of its content be ST (and probably other Disney nonsense at every turn, as well), and there's no way in hell I'm going to contribute to that, or allow any Disney bullshit into my home. In fact, it's funny you bring this up, because my wife and I just had this conversation, and we decided to just play through the old "Complete Saga" again, which is made with 100% less people that hate me and shit on my heroes.

@CatParty found this article based on an interview that Leslye Headland had with The AV Club which reveals that the writers hired for The Acolyte weren’t fans of the movies.
Seriously Ghostbusters, Walker Trxas Ranger and Powerpuff girls and now this. What's with hiring writers who hate source material of the reboots/Sequels they are in charge of making?
Ford just hurt his shoulder.
Not a surprise that man is almost 80 years old!! Unlike Clint Eastwood with the Dirty Harry movies. Ford doesn't realized that he is getting too old for this shit yet. He should have done what Eastwood did when he hit 70 and just start to doing less acting and more directing. But no got bust a hip trying to run

Beside nepotism, trying to hire the cheapest possible option or making sure that the movie is conforming to the Hollywood spreadsheet, I have no idea.

Ford is 78. Is he fighting using a walker?

Also, what is this movie even about? His battle with nursing home staff who are trying to force him to take his pills?

Seriously, who the fuck wants this movie?
