They're in permanent panic mode. Combining the flu and covid vaccines would force people to take both in order to get any sort of protection against flu. Also, if I might wax conspiratorial for a moment, they could be setting up the return of the flu as a reason to bring back lockdowns and all the other shit. There were "prominent scientists" calling for exactly that late last year.
I don't know how much traction it got, but someone said we should lock down every two years infinitely for "climate change."
