I agree with @Meiwaku but I also think this shows you how insanely suggestible these people are. If you have a secure sense of yourself and your life is going well, you don't fall for this shit. Looks like a lot of people really just treat it as a LARP, but I'm not seeing much discouragement of people taking it too far, and that's my major issue with groups such as Korps. With Korps, you're being conditioned by people who don't even realize they're conditioning you.

That's where my issue lies with the "safe" spaces. They don't really do enough to discourage dangerous behavior. Don't fuck around with fringe psychology or fringe medicine, it's remarkably easy to get burned. Delusions are induced regularly by hypnosis in hypnotizable people. One that is pretty easy to reproduce is mirrored-self misidentification, which mostly happens with people who have somewhat (but not very) blurred eyesight, and a canny belief they are looking at a different person's image. For hypnotizable people, a tiny fraction do not need either blurred eyesight or a pre-existing belief, and when they have blurred eyesight, hypnosis in this population can entirely replace the need for belief, short-term.

Unlike cults which hinge on purely social pressure, hypnosis works with minimal or controlled contact. So much so that the most effective and life-ruining cults depended on it to propagate and stay in control. Many cults, especially the very scary ones of the early 20th century, kept on board trained hypnotists, and promoted the use of psychotropic drugs that happen to be hypnotic and increase suggestibility. They also wove hypnosis into their rituals and daily life. Solid rundown of that process here. The combination of the two can make you believe things from the cult you ordinarily would not, while the social pressure of the cult encourages you to retain these suggestions long beyond the expiration date of transient hypnosis. This is why people on the receiving end drink the Kool-Aid time and time again in these sorts of cults, there's more than one factor at play.
It's not just a joke/fetish/etc, bro. The same people this content is being marketed directly to (creatives with high attention and past trauma) are also the ones that hypnotic cues are most likely to affect. Part of the pipeline is also the generation of content that made depicting clear biological females but has text or voiceover encouraging the viewer place themselves in their shoes with (poorly used) hypnotic imagery, often as a starting off point for deeper immersion.
This fulfills the creator's "kink" of trying to bait people into homosexuality, but it delegitimizes the idea that the hypnosis is not coercive. It starts with over-sexed internet denizens "exploring their fetishes" to get a better JO session, but for a fraction of the population (which happen to fall within the most regularly hypnotizable subset) that irony seems to progress rapidly to sincerity, they are sucked into one of these tranny hypnocult communities, and their "newfound awakening" is reinforced socially via cult-like peer pressure and through direct hypnotic suggestion, where applicable.

Saving graces are that these fetishists have a weak understanding of hypnotherapy, don't use effective means of encouraging hypnosis, fail to code messages that would create lasting impacts, and the way their reach is still very limited at the moment due to an inherent, unpopular relationship with grooming and sexual assault. Don't count on any of those things lasting long-term, it'll be LGBTP by 2030 and reporting sex crimes will be impossible because the perpetrators will all be women too, and you just gotta believe them.

Operating out of an invite-only Discord server, Korps uses forced exclusivity to present their cult as a selective and covetous community. Unsurprisingly, since furries are about as intelligent as the animals they roleplay as, this tactic works to an exceptional degree, with the Korps being well known in Twitter's trans furry community.

Mixing cult-like activity with the typical obsessiveness which permeates the furry community, the Korps has various features and symbols. Of note, its leaders have taken to creating their own cypher for communication which is as interesting to learn as a one hour video of a ham-fisted gorilla scribbling on scratch paper sounds. A more distinguishing feature of the Korps besides their generic symbol are its members wearing electronic shades which glow pink. Since it's a fairly interesting feature, predictably the Korps leaders do not make it themselves, as they purchase and repackage these glasses from a company which specializes in LED-based merchandise. While its associates are annoying in their own right, some key examples are certainly intriguing, to say the least. For instance, ZenoCoyote, shown above on the left, was groomed into transitioning by Dave Jr. thanks to a "trans bingo" card with painfully generic qualities invoking similarities to astrology in terms of sheer vagueness. Assumedly readers are likely questioning if these lunatics gather together so that said readers can actively avoid them. A mixed blessing, the members of the Korps attends yearly "Korpscon" meet-ups. That was a lie. In reality, Dave Sr. (Dave Anthony, KorpsPropaganda on Twitter, and Karen Anthony elsewhere) and Dave Jr. (Dave Ferris, StrypeisonFire on Twitter, and Hope Elizabeth Ferris elsewhere) are a pair of gay MtF Canadians (that are dating each other, as if it would be any other way) whose sole life's work, besides working exclusively in customer service jobs, is their uninterrupted ramblings regarding the Korps.

Dave Jr., otherwise known as "Strype," is a blob. There isn't quite much to add onto Dave Jr.'s behavior which hasn't already been shared earlier, besides the fact he had decided to literally brand himself with the Korps logo in the form of a permanent tattoo. However, it is not the tattoo present in the header, which instead belongs to an entirely different member altogether, in case readers believed the header image was a marshmallow drawn on with a permanent marker.

Dave Sr., otherwise known as "Karen," is similarly obsessed with the Korps and his sexual fetishes, and thus there is little to add regarding him, other than him apparently aging in dog years given he's just over 30 years old and looks around 50.

With Korps's leaders and members anticipating the annual Korpscon just around the corner, accusations abound regarding the community, including some claiming the members regularly share questionable or even illegal content in their exclusive servers. Whether this is true or not, what cannot be denied is how utterly despised the Korps community is by everyone from passive observers to the transgender or furry users the Korps tries to recruit. Given the constantly accelerating and downwards trajectory the Korps seems to be taking as of late, there is little reason to believe both their integrity and general reception will improve with the coming years.
