I think people hoping that transwomen taking all the medals will lead to normies peak transing are being unrealistic, we're all too cowed at this point. The transhulks will be screaming their narcissistic glory in women's faces and you'll just hear polite applause.
They are winning this absurd shit show of a battle.
China should stop spending money on military expansion - grab it don't waste your dime boys - in another 20 years they'll just be able to walk right across and sit down.
The West is eating itself.
The first trans woman to win a gold will provide a lot of content for this thread.
There's going to be content ranging from "trans women are just better at being women than cis women

we told you" to "how dare people question her gold medal just because she's trans, the cis transphobically want to undermine all trans women's achievements and silence us, she WORKED for this" to "it's so neolib to pretend to care about a trans woman winning women's sports, when we should be asking why sports reinforce the gender binary with arbitrary categories #getgenderoutofsports".
I'd also raise the point that trans acceptance isn't equal across the board. Have a look at this
YouGov poll, which has been misrepresented in the press as "most Brits support trans rights":
- A plurality of Brits agree that trans women are women, and self identification is valid
- A plurality of Brits think trans women should be allowed to use women's changing rooms, but only if they've had a vagina installed
- A majority of Brits think trans women should not be allowed to participate in women's sports.
20% - 30% of responses to each question were "I don't know", which says something on the ones where a
majority think something.
The interesting thing is they break it down by demographic, so e.g. a majority of British 18-24 year olds, left wingers and women think (post op) trans women should be allowed to use women's changing rooms. There is not a single demographic in that survey that has a skew towards agreement with trans women in sports. The only groups that don't have a
majority opposed to trans women in sports are 18-24 year olds and women (and I'd be interested to see how many women self defined), every other group is strongly opposed.
Also a plurality of respondents agreed with the statement "Allowing transgender women to use spaces reserved for women, such as women's toilets or changing rooms, presents no genuine risk of harm to women" but still felt pre-op trans women shouldn't be allowed to use women's toilets or changing rooms, so I guess they just think trans women are gross
