Imagine you're a socially maladroit young boy in $CURRENT_YEAR. You don't get along with other boys, let along girls. All your hobbies are exclusively online and extremely male-coded, and all your communities are total sausagefests. The few women who do inhabit the same spaces as you are worshipped like gods by your peers, who are so starved for female attention that they'll degrade themselves for the slightest chance to possibly receive a crumb of pussy.

What do the incel, the simp, the troon have in common? They worship the opposite sex as an idol. You can bring the idol offerings (the simp), see it as an ideal to aspire to (the troon), or base your value as a human being on its appraisals (the incel / "red pill").

This problem arises because the Internet is much more segregated (by age, sex, political views, etc.) than real life. The average person can now achieve a level of isolation once reserved for hermits and monks, without the self-reflection and erudition that these lifestyles used to imply.

If incels ate better, went out, developed personalities and laid off the porn they wouldn't be so maladjusted. Another thing that brings troons, simps and incels is their shared blindness to reality.

I feel ashamed of myself for understanding most of this shit. It's probably incomprehensible to the uninitiated, so let me give you a taste of the sheer insanity underlying these posts:

After the surgery you're effectively disabled for months, with a head held together by steel plates and screws, waiting for the sutures to fuse back together to keep your fucking brain from spilling out of your forehead. All in pursuit of that coveted 0.45 pupil/cheekbone ratio.

The really uninhibited ones go to Western-trained doctors in India, Turkey, and Eastern Europe, who will give them whatever they want for a few thousand USD, no strings attached, no liability if anything goes wrong.

An actual maxillofacial surgeon who frequents the Looksmax forums had this to say on the matter (A):

Aesthetic cases only requiring a few millimeters can be done subcranially (no craniotomy, dural dissection, brain retraction, or communication between nasal passages and intracranial area.)

Tessier said OBO was “just” an extension of a rhinoplasty.

So, in some cases, it's not actually as crazy as it sounds. Still pretty fucking crazy, though.

While correct, you guys are approaching this from a normal, well adjusted person's perspective while these guys are anything but and really don't know a shovel of shit from a perfectly chilled bottle of Veuve Clicquot.

Over the time, I noticed that incel horseshit is based on picking some truths, like that attractive people have it easier in dating, that women have an easier time as well (since men are naturally expected to woo them), etcetera, and then running wild to the point of insanity in distorting them. That's how we get people coming from "Look your best!" to "If you're not a muscular superman you're not getting any, give up bro!" like it's a normal thing to do!
