Today I was at work and I remembered that English nationalist who wanted to crowdfund a lolsuit. I burst out laughing. I remember that he referenced Brutus who is the infamous author of 'The Brutus Plan' which apparently advocates for removing the age of consent as well as rape lmao.

Yeah that was one of the points that stuck out to me during this stream as well.

Interest groups have been doing targeted campaigns like this for ages. I don't see how it is that different from the common letter writing campaigns of the religious right during the 80's.

It's true that it has an outsized effect though, and I recall that some businesses would go by a general rule that 1 irate letter (or phone call etc.) is equal to 100 or 1000 customer/client/viewer impressions.

Maybe you can argue that the impact was novel, but in the grand schema, very few things are really new.

I’m not really disputing that either. I think it’s less that Josh is right to say that GG had anything to do with how things went and more to do with negative associations because everyone involved was disappointing. Sargon is a gross sexual deviant who thinks he can be a politician. Dick is much the same. Totalbiscuit is dead and died bitter because he couldn’t deal with how his personal politics contributed to why everything is the way it is now. Jim is dying. Shoe is a batshit insane chameleon. Matt and Ralph need no explanation.

I was looking forward to this stream from the moment it was announced on here and it didn't disappoint. I've only earmarked future live streams to watch at a later time maybe 3 or 4 times before, it's not really something I do. This time I'm glad I did, what an enjoyable stream that was.

I genuinely look forward to MATI every week. Its become part of my rotating set of podcast/videos I listen to while I relax and fucking mine ore in FFXIV or something.

Jersh is getting pretty good at this whole blathering into the void thing by now.

Also as a fellow pepper grower I must show solidarity, though I grew Hatch chilis when I had a garden, and I will do it again when I have a garden once more.

yes. jersh is the perfect background noise. farming mats while having his strems on makes time fly. pretty crazy he has almost 20000 subs on his channel now. bet it makes a certain pill-popping alcoholic seeth.

Yeah im glad he is gaining an audience he has been consistent for a while with his friday streams. Bonus ones on lolcows or other news are nice too it's kinda like the metokur format where it isn't going overboard with spamming daily content to the point he waters the content down.

Also if people in the thread want a new cooking with kay style creator to watch Claw turned me on to this crazy fuck that goes by Iron Wrath 444 on youtube, his cooking is abysmal in the best kind of ways. All the stuff he cooks is so bad it almost seems like a troll but its not. Here is a teaser vid of him fucking up Chili.

Metokur didn't decline producing more content, he declined by going from planned projects (deviants after dark, badger hunt, etc) to streaming and superchats.

And yes, I believe he is actually a cancer ridden corpse since he had warned us about the Horus Heresy his illness as far back as 2018 if not earlier. Check the "Hello Carl" stream if you want some proof and some nostalgic Sargon spergery. Most of the streams aged incredibly well.
