Jellystone!

I went to youtube to check out the comments. Surprisingly, they seem to be shut down.
It's shutdown because HBO Max Family is a children channel, and Youtube automatically closes Youtube videos for children

Anyways, as your resident zoomer, I'm kinda mixed on this show

On the one hand, I adore CH Greenblat's work, I loved Chowder, I love his episodes of Spongebob and Harvey Beaks. Kinda annoyed how this forum calls everything soft and bubbly "CAL-ARTS" IMO, CH's art style is what Calart shit wishes to be.

But yeah, I sadly have to agree, that the actual animation itself, sucks ass. It's tweened, which for something as stylized and simple, really screams lazy to me.

And the actual show doesn't look that all that inserting, you can replace these with any OC, and the show would probably be the same. I don't understand the gender-swapping with some of these characters too.

I'm glad CH is still getting work, as he dersved to be still getting work, after getting fucked over twiced by networks, but man...

The simplistic animation tells me they just made rigs in ToonBoom so yeah, this is cost cutting/lazy/library padding and HBO Max is chasing Netflix. So its par the course. We could have gotten a one off violent Yogi Bear movie where he mauls people like that discount FNAF-like Banana Splits movie, but we get this.

Unrelated: does HBO Max have the original Babar cartoon that HBO aired in the 90s? I loved that growing up.

Well that looks... pretty bad. Like they're trying way too hard to be "edgy" (for lack of a better word) and gross to escape their 'cuddly' demographic. Odd that the Flintstones, Scooby and maybe the Jetsons aren't a part of this since they're the biggest HB properties. Regardless, all this seems to show is that WB really doesn't know what to do with these IPs anymore.
How many of the established characters are now gay on this?
Possibly 2 troon outs apparently or simply gender bending to add more female characters? Its hard to tell these days.

One was a friendly canadian wolf who tried to be a good role model to his son and wolves everywhere. And the other is Squiddly Diddly who was just the Sea World version of Yogi Bear. I guess they don't have diddlies anymore.

And Jabberjaw (that goofy shark) is voiced by a girl now instead of sounding like Curly from the Three Stooges for some reason. Not sure what that could mean.

Oddly enough it looks like Snagglepuss is not a booty chaser in this one (despite him being the butt of every butt banging joke at WB and having that fucked up furfag comic...), which makes sense considering he had a gf in his original cartoons and Will Hanna once shot down any claims of him being one back when he was still alive.
That art style looks like an unholy mix between calarts and Family Guy.
And this is supposed to be from the guy who made Chowder. JFC This shit looks like some toonboom crap.

Oh I see, I forgot about the gender swapping...

I guess I should also ask how many of the established non human characters will now be niggers?

Was that shark character originally a woman? Are they actually changing the sexes of generic comedy reliefs now?
He was a dude shark and one of the dozens of "Scooby Doo" clones from the 70s. Sounded like Curly for some reason, but I guess that ended up making him one of the few memorable Scooby clones.

I wouldn't rule out trooning out just yet. But even without the current year shit, this show would still look like shit.

Hard to tell, only saw 5 humans in that trailer and the 2 brown ones were always brown.

One was a friendly canadian wolf

For a while there I thought "what the hell did they do to Cindy Bear?"
Either way, troonage was involved.

It's appropriate that Careen [D]Ingle[berry] draws her self-portrait to look like a drooling tard.
Careen, isn't that what a car does when it swerves dangerously off the proper route, out of control, and wrecks itself?

The other one, zine artist. Enough said.
