Burnie really wanted machinima to be a "thing" and wanted the RT website to remain independent from youtube/other social media. When these things didn't work out, he and the rest of them were kind of lost and it definitely had a huge impact. It's a shame as they all seemed so optimistic and hopeful. But Burnie's not gonna sink with his ship, remains to be seen whether he'll be able to do anything independent of RT.

Imagine e-begging for a fucking sex toy. We need to bring back public shaming, and curb this sort of behaviour. We, as a society, need people to think along the lines of, "should I tweet about how devastated I am that my dog destroyed my favourite dildo, and compare it to my wife's cancer diagnosis, and then beg for someone to send me a new dildo?... no, I shouldn't. That would be weird, and something I should keep to myself."
