It's part of the narrative. A year ago you can't say anything about Covid origin is from China, but now we can. But that isn't the nail on the coffin, no, the nail is that the WHO is going to look into it with "help" from China. 1) Considering that the WHO knew about the virus montus in advance and didn't say anything about it, instead once the virus got out they played it off as a joke. Which in turn got millions of people infected witch caused almost 700,000 people in the United States to die, plus a million+ more deaths worldwide.
2) China lied about it for a year. They came out on public television and announced that they had no idea where is virus originated from, and that they deny any involvement with it. Anyone who says otherwise were banned on social media outlets for spreading "misinformation" about things that turned out to not be false.
If anything about last year taught me anything, it was that the WHO is very corrupt and that I won't trust them with any short of investigation ever.
You've got the broad points but you're wrong on some of the finer details.
To try to shorten this, WHO/CDC are researching a few dozen strains of flu. This standard practice, they basically have researchers out getting blood samples and trying to find what will be the future flu before its the flu so it can be quietly slipped into the yearly flu shot. COVID was on their radar already.
China has practically no BioMed field; the US and Europe has done a really good job of scalping anyone with any talent, and the Chinese have done a great job of making the offer of getting the fuck out of china and away from the secret police really attractive. This means China is 100% dependent on a "hostile" (as in: No you can't just do whatever you want like commit genocide because they are ethnic minorities) international community for their medical sciences - which is becoming more and more important as they have a growing middle class who don't want to just die.
So here is how COVID almost certainly played out: China has made inclusion in WHO efforts mandatory. The researchers know this and usually take pains to try to keep china from reading over their shoulders. With COVID, the CCP plants realized they were collecting bats (and maybe got a bit more about what to look for). China then collected their own bats so they could do research, come out with a domestic vaccine, and tell their people how awesome they are. What instead happened is Chinese have no appreciation of PPE or safety protocols. Some guy was fucking around with bats, got COVID, went to the fish market for Lunch, and we know the rest.
Now, the secondary question "Why the fuck is the WHO cucking under so hard to china?" And the answer is information access. There is no medical privacy laws in China. No HIPPA, no GDPR. You go into the doctor and everything about you is put into the government medical database.
When you do medical research, having a sample set of a few hundred is considered pretty good. If you have access to the chinese medical records system, you have access to the records of more than 2 billion people. If you make China mad, they won't give you access. If you are good boy who agrees Taiwan is an integral part of China, you get access.
tl;dr COVID was going to be in your flushot in about 3-5 years, China accelerated that because they are filthy toilet-squatters who don't wash their hands. The WHO is 1,000,000% chinkcucked because they want access to Chinese medical records for research.
