Doubtful, if he really is staying at Truth Ministries (doubly so if he's there under some kind of court order and needs to report that he's complying). Most of those places have pretty early check outs and check ins.

Not sure what Truth Ministries' times are, but the shelters we have here usually have check in by 6:30-7pm and check out anywhere between 5:30 and 7am.

I used to believe that nothing is too dark to laugh at. I've amended my position to: nothing is too dark to amuse. A peg legged Lucas wouldn't make me chortle, guffaw, chuckle, titter, or howl, but there's a comic element there, too.

They also have a post showing that they need someone to help with janitorial duties during the off-hours when the homeless are gone, with hours starting at 8am. So I’m wondering if Lucas just left early to get to the spot so he could check out kids walking to school, or maybe he has been sleeping rough. That’s what he would do when at HOC. He’d sleep in the woods and get drunk. Just makes me wonder.

Even if he is sleeping rough that doesn't mean that Lucas isn't plenty good and not ready to be a dad. He certainly is. Greed and bigotry of the socialist in name only Gen Z baes are preventing that.
