You don't hear gay couples complaining that they don't have "reproductive autonomy" because they're not provided a free surrogate by the state if they want to have biological children, and that's actually easier to do over Kevin undertaking a surgery that has never been performed successfully and requires a woman to donate her reproductive organs. Kevin would basically need an egg donor and a sperm donor just to have a foetus implanted in a donated uterus inside his body. At that point why not cut out the middle man and adopt a child? Far less likely to result in your insides exploding because there's no anatomical way to have a uterus inside a male abdomen, since it's not "plug and play" and the uterus has a vast array of associated ligaments, different positioning/anchoring of abdominal muscles etc. etc.
