This is actually an incredibly good point. I was opposed to the idea of a tugboat for Wedge before because I thought it was a waste of taxpayer dollars to pay an ugly clown money for nothing. Now I realize we aren't paying Wedge for doing nothing, we're paying him not to interact with other people, which I am absolutely on board with.

I don't think I have seen an example yet of a conventionally attractive man that has fully transitioned. Blaire White, Contrapoints and Philosophy Tube all seem to have kept their bait and tackle. And the fact that the first two aren't hideous is a big part of why they have found success. They can be aspirational figures few will achieve.

However... Don't use elective here. Elective just means you can schedule it in advance. These are fully optional surgeries, and odds are a lot of the ones without a feminization fetish would be just fine with, say, a mastectomy bra and falsies.

Having talked to a few people: It's dysmorphia. If it's been caused by high-grade endocrine fuckery--I've seen a woman like you describe, and for bonus points she also had a man's voice--it might get treated, just on the basis that...well. For me, it's 100% how much you actually shift your behavior. I'll even count the lolcows, as long as their behavior actually matches up with their claims...including what they claim they've got.
