That being said, these shearers COULD have been some of the first "outsiders" (non-lgbt, non-ally, non-"journalist") let into the Tenacious Unicorn Ranch. And given their expertise could go and air some facts about the local conditions of the alpacas. But the ranchers probably made sure to import shearers with friendly views on trans folx.
