I was wondering why Coco had a stream scheduled for three months from now. I guess that's just a place for people to chat, then?

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say that you dont know what a freechat room is.
In summary, its a containment stream usually scheduled several years in advance for people to talk among themselves, almost every girl has one if you go check their channel.

Yeah, a lot of indies have them too. Alternatively, it's when she comes back as Coco Kaine in HoloEN gen 2. This isn't cope, I swear

How she surprise that she's the type to choose her own path and able to turn down money if it mean she have to change herself. She lives a cheap life, takeout, alcohol, and some sweets are the only things that could be considered a luxury purchase, and maybe a few adidas products. The only thing she bought that's "lavish" was her bed for health reasons. Money was never a concern to Coco, or at least she made it seem that way.

shes made 800K before taxes on SC alone. (After YT/cover cut) Assuming she got 1 dollar per month for every member, thats another 25K a month (estimated and low balled) Tokyo is expensive, but she's not hurting for cash. Someone as smart and creative as her isn't going to just sit back and live off her savings either. If she does follow her talents, she is going to do well.

that number is insane, with a cut of 1/3 she made 100k dollars, what a send off. Also this is funny, she gained 50k subs after announcing retirement from HoloLive, meaning no new videos, perhaps I should join those 50k

Managed to watch this and it was great.

I didn't really care about Coco either but it was clear that she was huge figure the other girls looked up to.

The minecraft festival stream was a goldmine of great content and I love the fact that they finally managed to get most of the girls together in that server. Sure the EN girls had a ton of lag but that was the only negative thing about it. It seems dumb for them not to have more of these in the future.

As for the stream itself, Kanata breaking down while reading her letter killed me. She had been the only one keeping things together and being super positive while telling everyone else to smile and be happy and at the last moment she just couldn't hold it in. I was sitting at work and was tearing up at that.

Unless she has a non competion clause, she could start her own group. I doubt she will though as she probably isn't that ambitous, and knows it would attract her former co workers into a tenuous positon. She already has an avatar, and even with an NC clause Holo would have to be malicous as hell to try to stop her Vtubing. (if they even could under such a clause) Especially considering during her enforced month off she used that avatar to Vtube.

If her friends decide at some point that they want to follow her there because they want to be with her, or want more creative freedom or whatever, that's a good thing,
Other companies will have to do more to keep their talents, give them more freedom or protections and we'll have less sad events like this.

I would think that there is a non-compete clause in place preventing her from doing that as that would pretty much destroy Hololive.

Hello there, first time posting in the thread, I have been lurking here since page 300 aprox. (catched up around page 500). I just wanted to say that this thread helped me to process Coco's graduation. Man, the past month have been a roller coaster of emotions, who could imagine that the dragon anime girl with the Mickey Mouse on drugs voice could make us laugh and cry so much. Anyway, thanks you much Kaichou.

She loves streaming, and now she is free from mangement. As an indie her future looks dazzling. I doubt she would put her friends in a postion where they would abandon a paycheck and a dedicated fanbase to join her agency. On top of the money needed to do so. She is well off, but she isn't rich. She has stated that money isn't everything, so making a new agency to rival/crush Holo is not in her career plan IMO. She's going to do her own thing and be happy doing it.

Maybe in a few years the situation will change, and she will want to do more, but thats not now.

YT took out Ryonaxlove's channel as well. Poor Akira got all her videos deleted by youtube and she's been reuploading them.

I feel this quite abit. Everyone wondered why I took a random day off and like I could tell them the real reason now. The only people who know the real reason is you lot here in this thread.

But i also should of taken Friday off as well. After Coco Graduation and then I saw the new Violet Evergarden movie later in the same day, I'm officially a shell of a human being who lacks any sort of moisture coming from my eyes and motivation to do any work.
