I'm not totally sold on the mobile game angle
I'm dying to know your reason for not being totally sold on DSP & WWE Champions. Not a slight, I'm just genuinely curious.

I've been convinced for over a year but maybe I haven't thought about it enough recently and my ardent stance in believing it's 100% him hasn't been challenged enough.

I've got one question - is knowing how to change a tire a requirement to pass the test to get your driver's license in the US? Where I'm from it's part of the practical part of the exam. Then again it's been more than a decade since I got my license so maybe even here you don't need to know that anymore.
No but I suppose it's another life skill to have. Kinda like being able to: Ride a bike, knowing how to swim so you don't drown, installing window blinds, knowing how to make your 5 A/C units to work, etc.

Also $600 to for a flat tire sounds like an outrageous number for a flat tire. Would be typical Phil to get fleeced by a tire shop of all fuckin' places if he went to the Fyrestone one.

although thinking about it they should include basic vehicle care (change tires, check oil, apply brake fluid etc.) as part of the tests so that kids wont come out as dipshits as phil when it comes to cars
That stuff's all in the manual if anyone cares to read it. I'm an automotive ignoramus but the last time I had to change a tire I just pulled out the manual and followed the instructions. They really make it idiot-proof.

A bit off topic but if anyone is looking for games to pick up during the summer sale on Steam just go down the list of games Phil has refused to play to find some real gems. Like Blasphemous, Hollow Knight, and Bloodstained just to name a few that DSP for some reason or another took a hard pass on. Basically whatever Phil has adamantly refused to play is probably worth taking a look at since he's slept on some of the best games these past few years and instead shelled out full price for remakes and remasters.
Guilty Gear Strive, to name another one. The fact that he's ducked that game so publicly is hysterical.

For the record, anyone with a flat tyre who changes it should still probably go to a garage at some stage. I knew someone once that changed a tyre but didn't fit the new one tightly enough. 3 months later he found out why you should make sure it has been done properly, even if its just a case of the garage checking your work :)

There's a big difference between putting on a spare and actually getting that fucker on/off the rim for replacement. I'm paying the $20 extra for the machine to do the latter every time.

I know they teach you what to do when you have a blow out, like go on the shoulder, turn your hazards on yada yada.. but teaching you how to fix a tire? I don't think so. It's been well over a decade since I got mine too but I don't remember them asking me the process of fixing a tire when studying for the test. Plus it's one of those things I already knew because my Dad told me if I ever wanted to keep a woman I'd better learn the bare minimum maintenance of a car.

Back to Phil though, i'm not totally surprised at the level of incompetence at basic life knowledge. Not knowing about an oil change every x amount of miles. Flying his dad out to paint his condo. Proper bill management. These things bewilder Phil.

I guess when you scam a ton of money and do nothing but eat, sleep, and play video games. Knowledge of those things don't matter, and if you do think they do and call Phil LAZY. Get that ass banned.

Maybe I'm missing some crucial Pigroach lore, but Phil seems to really fucking hate indies. No idea why, but it seems like if its not super mainstream shit that everyone's talking about(Cuphead, Ori, Hollow Knight) he's not interested.

Oh I understand and have hesitated to mention it before because I know everything points to it. Maybe that's part of it, being a perfect gayop to out-tism a place full of true Tists. It's something I would've dedicated my 15yo self to doing if the funds (and the internet) were available back then.

Hard to say, it just doesn't feel right. Go ahead, I just put on my fire-retardant suit.

Being a man of honesty and integrity, dsp interpreted "no masks if you're fully vaccinated" to mean no more masks for anyone. He kept saying mask requirements are gone last week, leaving off the part of it applying if you're actually vaccinated. Apparently since stores/businesses aren't allowed to ask, dsp is ok with not wearing a mask anymore.

Regardless of how you feel about masks, at least be consistent. Dsp has been a huge mask/lockdown guy this entire time (well he pretended to be anyway) but now he's ok with skirting the rules and not wearing a mask even though he's still technically mandated to since he's not vaccinated.

And he's ok with publicly sharing the fact that he's not following his state's coronavirus protocols like a scumbag.

Yea, just breaking the bead isn't going to happen without the correct tools to give you leverage against the sidewall vs rim. Tubeless tires aren't the same as bicycle tires, taking a rim/tire off to replace it with the fun-sized spares they give out these days isn't herculean, but, popping a 220/80/18 off the 18" rim with just tire irons and a sailor's lexicon sure the fuck is.

If it was a gayop, they would have somehow had to get hold of Phil's phone and Discord, spend $40k whilst waiting for someone to stumble across their account, then change their name whilst spending another $40k. Even if it was, it still can't explain his $5k a month business expenses.

Since phil is always in a perpetual economic struggle, where does Kat comes in? She lives with him, should be expected of her to contribute to the money problem too. Since idk if I'm too old fashion, but married couples usually help each other. To my understanding, has phil ever said how does she contributes to the economic problem of Phil?

My personal theory is that ever since she moved in, has ramped his begging considerably vs when he was with Leanna, which cements the idea that she's a gold digger or she keeps all money to herself since she doesnt trust phil with her money which would be telling of how much trust she has....then again would you trust a dood who went bankrupt with your money?
Phil said it is incredibly stupid to involve your spouse in your business. They should not be helping you because that is going to cause issues, one of the dumbest things you can do. This was a response to someone asking if Kat could help him get an Xbox. Usually I'd feel bad for someone getting scammed by their wife but since it's Phil, it's well deserved.

You gotta admit that'd be a Gold Medal at the Gayop Olympics. Who doesn't want an Olympic Gold Medal?

He still bases his choice of games to stream on what he thinks will be "white-hot popular." Even half a decade after the business model failed completely, DSP still chases after day 1 views by only playing AAA releases he thinks people want to see instead of ever taking a chance on something different.

At a minimum, since according to him she is the only one that drives it, could have paid for the tire since she should have plenty of cash saved up.

Most car's spare tires are space saving emergency tires that you're not supposed to drive over 40mph or so with.

Also yeah, get someone with a torque wrench for a proper long term install.

It's more to do with the fact that you shouldn't be driving around on a spare tire for too long rather than just checking your work . Again, dunno how it is anywhere else but here when you change your tires for new ones they give you one of the old ones as a spare, unless you have one of those piece of shit emergency tires that can only ever be used as a spare. So you should in any case definitely drive to the shop and get a new tire ASAP if one of them blew and you had to change it for a spare one.
