Ralph either would have had to take a very quick weekend trip to California, or traveled while he was on hiatus to see little Xander.
I don't see that being the case because he had arrangements to make for Sandra's farewell Uber to the sky.
Also I don't think Ralph could have kept quiet if he saw "his" kid. He probably would have stopped by the pedo studio on the hills while he was there anyways.
OR the Vickers could have traveled to the guntshack. But we can scratch that off because of the extreme degree of unlikeliness.
