The Speedrun Moderators have been trying to kill the rumors about the 1.15 runs for a month now. According to one of the Head Mods, they have zero evidence that supports any of his previous runs being faked. Apparently the only reason one of them went under suspicion was because their head verifier Casseroii has a huge hate boner for Clay and claimed she saw a splice.
When it turned out that there was no splice, she immediately backpedaled and disappeared for a month.
The main thing Karl was trying to disprove was the actual fake info that retards like H3H3 and Bowblax were spreading, while also saying "The evidence fits the timeline Dream presented more than the timeline everyone else assumed."
As it stands, though, the Moderators have verified basically everything Karl brought forward in the video, with at least one (KaptainWutax) being involved with gathering and providing info for Karl. Keep in mind that both Karl and Wutax were vocally losing respect for Clay by this point, yet the evidence was enough to sway over both of them. So if Clay was able to pull the wool over Karl and Wutax's eyes 8 months after this controversy, why not just feed the mods this claim back in October? He would've been able to remove the mod without getting in trouble and probably would've gotten decent leaderboard entries anyways.

Alright here's my attempt as someone who sees this type of stuff daily on Twitter:
First off the "##" in the display name followed by "wilbur". The "##" indicates an introject/the fact that they are psychotic, basically they are claiming to have dilusions or DID or OSDD or some variant of those illnesses. "Wilbur" meaning Wilbur Soot, so they think they are Wilbur Soot. I'm not sure what the ". . !" is, but I think that's just there for aesthetic.

I remember bits and pieces of this while it was going on. A lot of them complaining about how much they hated Dream, and I actually wound up getting banned from the speedrun leaderboard for disagreeing with them on Karl's discord lol
Like it's one thing to be critical of Clay or just straight up dislike him. Look at this thread for instance. It's another to incessantly whine about how unfair it is that Clay's career wasn't destroyed by the Geosquare video, or claim that his family getting doxxed is justified because he cheated, or argue with anyone that disagrees with the idea that Clay isn't the devil incarnate.
They can be fairly effective if you stick to them. I know my gf was able to go from ~170 down to 110 by the diet change, and that was with occasional cheat days.
Plus, unlike my gf, Clay is a multi-millionaire with a lot more resources at his disposal. As I've said before, he seems to be a fairly vain person, so I don't doubt he started working on his looks once he started growing in popularity.

Wouldn’t be surprised if this gives Dream another leg up on the fatty pics, since if he’s following the same diet and is only 200ish pounds now he just needs a different haircut and he’ll be golden. The fact he hasn’t face revealed yet though makes me think it’s a work in progress if at all though- during the original drama all he had to do is snap a quick selfie and boom we’re completely embarrassed and the stans go apeshit. But he didn’t.

Perhaps Clay wasn’t lying about the lack of objectivity and professionalism from the speedrun mods. From my encounters, they all seem rather childish and spiteful over the whole drama — but it seems Geosqaure himself has moved on.
And Christ, you got banned? Over an opinion? God that’s actually so retarded.
On another note, it seems Dream has been donating a fuck ton of cash to the mc speedrun community as sorts of reparations. It has been hilarious over the past few days seeing these runners tripping over themselves to get a donation from Dream. The attitudes have obviously changed.

Geosquare has definitely shown a lot of maturity on his part, and more power to him. Hopefully the other moderators and Clay can take a page from his book, though realistically only Geo and Clay are gonna come out of this for the better.
From my own understanding, a majority of the Speedrun team is 18-20, with the oldest members being around 24. I'm not going to judge all of them because a few are retards, especially since their initial documents were fairly professional, but behind the scenes Wutax and April both admit the investigation should have stopped in October and been closed with a post saying the run couldn't be verified.
After all, Clay was straightforward with one thing: If the recording mod was running, which we now know it was, it optimized chunkloading beyond what Vanilla can ordinarily do. Helpful for recording videos on multiplayer, but technically against the speedrun rules, which should have disqualified the run in the first place.
As for my ban, it's retarded, but since I only had one run submitted I was moreso surprised that they were getting that butthurt over someone partially disagreeing with them.
I've noticed that too. I mean money is money, but it's kinda disingenuous for them to suddenly start acting like Clay's their best friend in the hopes that he'll drop a couple grand their way. I'd almost be less disappointed if they still treated him like the devil in disguise.
