Karl's vid is up. I don't expect it to go anywhere but I'll download it and if anything happens pm me and I can provide it, even if it means breaking it up and reuploading here.

(not detailed)
20 minutes in and it's him trying to show how what Clay has said is actually reasonable and not manipulation/lying
My favorite bit is his baseless speculation on why the mod dev didn't tell anyone about their changes to the client at any point which basically amounts to "They didn't wanna get fired once they realized how much drama they caused"

30 minutes in
Fair consideration of the infamous astrostatistician.

44 minutes in
just explaining Dream is retarded at math but glances over a blatant retarded lie by Clay as a misunderstanding

52 minutes
Karl says he contacted the mods quoted in Clay's response video and they asked him not to share those messages and used them in a misleading away

56 minutes
Acknowledges Clay twists quotes to suit his agenda. Says he "bends the truth" but doesn't blatantly lie.

59 minutes
Says a lot of things he thinks Clay has improved on since the cheating drama, notably that Clay really does seem to try to reign in his fans

1 hour 5 minutes
acts like it's crazy that Clay would fake his reactions to the livestreamed cheatruns

1 hour 6 minutes
acts like it's crazy that Clay would write a 10 page "report" on probabilities when Clay had no business writing it to begin with considering how demonstrably bad at math he is
also acts like it's crazy he'd spin a general web of lies (it is which is why this thread is fun)

Overall - Karl is being way too soft but that's his thing so expected.
One thing after mulling this video over is the talking point that "Since Dream had no consistent narrative then he was probably innocent of malicious cheating" which goes against basic concepts in law; if a witness consistently changes their story they're unreliable. Karl goes on to justify his stance with the example of Billy Mitchell who, unlike Dream, is not personable and sticks to his story. This only says how good of a liar Mitchell is and not Dream's innocence and in the same video is shown to be an incompetent liar trying to spin half truths into a persecution narrative.
I think it's clear that Karl, despite giving a fair amount of valid and deserved criticism, became a bit too attached to the personalities at play and set out with the mindset to "not be like that guilible uninformed hatemob" which made him into an easy mark.
Dream changes stances and stories more than he eats calories a day. The result is that Dream is a cheater and a liar, this should not be a debate. He intentionally cheated via his mod designed to cheat those exact things created for manhunt. Not to mention his 1.15 runs were under suspicion at the time he "admitted" to cheating on purpose "by accident"

I don't understand why this Karl guy is trying to "dispell misinformation" that Dream spread himself. Whether it be due to the suggested not trying to be like the "gullible uninformed hatemob" or whether Dream had a hand in the video, this Karl guy clearly has quite a bias towards Dream compared to the Billy Mitchell guy. Dream and Mitchell are both just cheaters trying to get ahead of the competition, and Mitchell is probably quite the lolcow as well, as cheaters tend to be.

the dude that tweeted about the Dream LGBT stream controversy is such a fucking moron

Man posted this on June 30th and gave the man a free cop out, Dream just streamed before June ended and then donated. All he had to do was wait until July 1st and his fanbase would've rioted lmao

bad look for dramacoin

Nazi Karl Jobst is better than this apologetics faggot.

Dream responded to some stuff on reddit:

hi this is Dream

I thought I would make this post regarding the Karl Jobst video because I thought it would be interesting and potentially helpful. Karl did an amazing job and as an investigator uncovered a lot of stuff that even I somehow didn't think about or realize. He didn't cover all of it, because he mostly focused on the mis-information rather than providing "information in my defense". I also don't want to create more drama or argue things more, so I decided against making a second channel video or anything. So below is just some stuff that Karl uncovered in his investigation that could be useful in coming to a determination. Would also be fine with answering questions below regarding his video or the speedruns in general.

Will be providing the information objectively with screenshots.

Info: While investigating Karl uncovered evidence that I had fabric and more importantly fabric API and used it in videos months before the streamed speedruns. You can tell I am using Fabric API in the screenshot below during a manhunt. You can tell because it says "[Fabric] Active renderer: none(vanilla)" on the F3 menu:

Screenshot: https://gyazo.com/35462ca61fa74a0f8c7dcaf591191b92

Importance: This video is not a mod video, and shows that I had fabric API installed and was using it well before my speedruns without any specific mods for a video. This was for a performance and QOL recording mod.

Info: While investigating Karl uncovered evidence that I had volunteered any files the moderators wanted when asked directly after my speedrun. It sounds stupid that he uncovered this, but I just never deep dove through all my messages with the mods until he prompted me to.

Screenshot: https://gyazo.com/07990f38358cbce4bb5aee772e18a04d

Importance: On the 18th (9 days later), I was asked about my mod folder and was unable to provide it then because I had deleted it on the 17th, the day before when I said I was quitting speedrunning. This is only important subjectively to show willingness to cooperate, even though I'm still an idiot

Info: There are still some people confused about me being dishonest about having had a recording mod in the first place to the moderators. I had mentioned the QOL mod on multiple occasions to the mods and Karl even mentioned in his video that I told Willz, a speedrun moderator, that if fabric api was actually on I was probably using my recording mod too. Although I also said that there would be nothing in the mod that would effect my speedruns. Something that I had confirmed with the developer, and had decompiled my current version of the mod to check (and there was nothing). After seeing the fabric API logs and misunderstanding them, I thought that it was 100% that I wasn't using the recording mod, but that was after the mods released their report.

Screenshot: https://gyazo.com/3a7ccc4640b345866c6f0036accedfe8

Importance: I never hid the existence of a recording mod, and it isn't something I randomly made up. How important that is is subjective

People are also still confused about client / server side, which I think Karl does a great job of explaining, but I can clarify slightly on the specifics. I still currently (and previously) have a mod that I use while recording. This mod does a bunch of things related to performance, visual stuff, and other QOL improvements. This is visible in my videos due to the F3 menu being smaller, particles being lessened, certain sounds being lower, my main menu screen, servers list, and other visual aspects, as well as lots of non visual things.

This is separate from what would be on the server side, which are plugins that are also related to QOL but that cannot be done through the client side. This would include a pause command to pause the time in case we need to use the bathroom or something, decreased eye break percentages and higher pearl trade percentages (specifically now in 1.16.5, trades are like 1.16.1), and just generally other QOL improvements.

These two things can't be confused, are not compatible with each other and function completely differently.

Anyway I thought these were interesting things that Karl uncovered or helped me uncover during his investigation, which was much more thorough than I could have imagined.

I'm glad that this saga has come to more of a close, although I'm happy to answer any questions like I did with Karl because there's a lot of nuance to understanding everything. I think that Karl did a great job investigating though and I think that the harsh criticism he threw my way was well deserved.
Wow. The video is definitely a Dream commissioned psy op. Sad people fall for this stuff. He responded pretty much how I said he would.

Summary, but still longish. The video is more than an hour long.
Actual video starts at around 5:00. Before that, it's just the Australian talking about his griftshare promotion and how he got access to a fuck tonne of information, chatlogs, Dream's asstrohfizisitz and the modders that altered his game files. Long story short, Dream is a cheater, he is fat, and sex, I will not have with him.

5:15 Dream's long-winded pastebin.

6:47 99.9% of people reading the document doesn't know what server-side and client-side means. (I call fucking bullshit).
Karl goes on to mention the "commentary community", a loose collection of drooling retards that make careers reading threads on a tranny-41% advocacy website. No one is surprised, but they got details wrong.

11:57 No reason to assume plug-ins used for servers will affect streams. People didn't care who made the mods (why would they?).

14:15 The mods included QoL improvements such as faster loadings, which could explain a lot of the seemingly impossible plays in his videos. The developer added the client side mods and withheld the information in fear of losing his job, which was incredibly stupid. That's why no mod was found and the green cheating nigger was adamant in his innocence.

17:20 No, Ethan Klein is not an expert in anything, but perhaps grifting and putting on a diaper.

18:30 SmallAnt video premise fallacy, boosted drops is obvious due to far more barters, good point. Past strategies, Dream only traded about 300 times in 24 hours. Modern ones involves several hundreds in 1-2 hours of play.

20:40 A cheater and liar would just send a fake mod folder. Fair. Dream found the Asstrohpizisit through a freelancer site which wanted the payments to be processed through his company. He didn't find that obscure company then the expert. This is something that should have been mentioned months ago, not now.

28:00 Dream's Dr. Harvard made a shit report because the opponent was a collective of autistic speedrun moderators, over 10 people. It was shit in comparison. The report wasn't independent, the cheater influenced the outcome directly.

36:00 Dream's 1.15 run is sus, but no evidence to point to cheating.
That's where the new information ends, and the rest pretty much focuses on Dream behaving like a petulant child. He lies, he lies a lot.

So the Harvard PhD Astrophysicist exists, the annoyed Dream Stan speedrunning mod also exists. The Minecraft dev that made retarded comments showing his/xir/her/its illiteracy in probability exists too. The commonality among all these persons is that their opinions were directly influenced by Dream's claims, which in his own words, is math illiterate.

People claiming this is a Dream commissioned video needs to actually watch it. I know, waste of 75 minutes. Just skip to 5:00 and watch 30 minutes onwards.

My thoughts:
I cannot in good conscience believe that 99.9% people who read the pastebin doesn't know the difference between server and client sided mods. It makes no sense how he didn't realise the abnormal drop rates.

There's an MMORPG game I used to play that introduced harder modes of missions, basically mobs will have boosted HP and attack damage. After a week, they scaled back the health of the mobs in the hardest difficulty and I immediately noticed because I found myself "seemingly doing more damage". I wasn't playing all the time, probably around 1-2 hours a day and a bit more during the weekends. They also introduced rare drops, which weren't that rare. Further down the road, they altered the rare drops (lowering the rates) and put some mobs under the "tough mob" category, meaning they have higher defence and health. Once again, myself and most people realised instantly, I was a casual player logging on for 15 minutes of daily games by then. This prompted people to use different methods such as attacks that will ignore defence on particular enemies.

If some casual player like me felt something was off, how the fuck did he not sense the 10% or 15% bartering and higher blaze rod rates? Clayton was doing 4+ hours of streams. This begs another question, didn't a bystander who was also a speedrunner realise the boosted drop rates? So someone did see something fishy after all.

I can give zero shits what the "cumtary community" and diaper H33b Ethan Klein thinks about the situation. Of course they don't get it, but almost everyone who plays Minecraft at some point knows about client mods and server mods or plugins. It was clear that the drooling cunts in that grift circle didn't know this, so point taken I guess, but would it be egregious to assume most people who read that pastebin plays or have played the game? I'm kind of sure "drop rates" can still be altered via packet grabbing... oh well. Karl can't even read some very basic lines of code, what does he know about this?

He called this ???
1625149990347.png

Sure, how does this work right? But it gives you a very good clue because it wasn't coded by some streetshitter.

The point about no live viewer seeing the increased rates until after a week is pretty fair. Yes, the accumulative chances were one in 7.5 trillion, that's 24 hours worth of streams with a massively compounded "lottery wins", not just a 4 hours long stream doing the usual shit to get eyes of ender. You can just do an experiment yourself, get some coloured puzzle pieces and draw at random, one bag has one white and 19 colourful pieces (5% white), the other has 1 black and 6 coloured, nicely segregated (14% black). Despite black being just 14% of the population... You'd likely not feel an immediate difference with draws. The same goes with my MMO example above, the health decrease was discovered after killing lots of mobs, the rare material drop rate decrease was obvious since there's so many entities that drop items and the decrease was massive (20% to like <1%). That SmallAnt video adds to this point too. With hundreds of barters at once compared to the older probably 10-15, yeah that 5%>15% is incredibly obvious.

One of the worst videos I've ever seen, I thought there was new information about the photo, but it's just a recap of Dream's response, but for some reason now when it's not even relevant anymore, and the TikTok guy is used to debunk the photo whilst completely ignoring his follow up statements.

For a second I swore to god that I saw this video posted in the thread already, and then I checked the date. So, I just chalked it up to clickbait youtubers for a second, but then I went to his videos feed.

Turns out I thought this because all of his thumbnails use the SAME EXACT FORMAT. Wouldn't making the equivalent of the exact same thumbnail just lead to your viewers thinking they've already watched that shitty video?

Commentary youtubers are even worse to watch than Breadtubers, and that's saying something.

I am so tired of dream stans bringing up the stupid tiktok guy time after time, even though he said he lied for clout and that wasn't him. They will believe anything but the truth. Half the comments are sucking his cock because of course dream could "never be some ugly guy", The other half are chimping out about how horrible it is to fat shame "some random guy".

Couple of days late but my YT recommended kept getting flooded with it.

I am split with the way Karl presents the video. In one half its very convincing that dream didn't know, brainstorming human behaviour I believe this is the case. However The part where he moves away from the speedrun itself and how the commentary community and dream handled it is in my opinion... a bit poor. As a youtuber Karl should know the scope of how the youtube landscape works and the way communities work. But That section it feels a bit biased just so he could get on dreams good side. Not say he did but It feels like there was no mix and things slowly went one sided. Overall good video in my opinion.

Funny thing about this guy is that he’s actually a troon lol. This is his twitter.

Claims to be trans and does nothing to even sound like a feminine so half of his viewers that don’t follow him on twitter don’t even know he’s a tranny.
