I know the video is 13 minutes but if you want to have a look inside the mind of a bodybuilder (a big part of them) this video reveals what it takes, what pain you go through. Not only physical pain but also mental pain. People who lives this bodybuilding life style as myself, go to the gym not just to get swole but to escape your thoughts.

I see myself as the guy in the video, he describes it perfectly. Sometimes your mind get stuck... and it becomes an addiction. The 'pump' is the cure. If you've never felt the 'pump' before you are missing out on something. You feel your whole body becoming one with your mind and your brain leaves out all the bad things and focus on whats in front of you in the moment: You, the weights and the physical pain.

Thats a quite interesting question actaully.. All 5 main characters in those movies seem to be affected by women. The women have a big part of how the main characters behave. As in American Psycho, Patrick Bateman feels he has to oppress women in order to convince himself that he's not homosexual. He struggles to find peace and tend to burst out in a blood lust simply because he hates everything about himself and therefore every person around him.
