I'll proceed on the assumption that the mention of that state department website isn't a post-hoc addition to the story taken from our thread.

I'm not sure if the date used on the state dept website is UTC, local time in country the death occurred, or local time DC, and I'm not sure if Byuu would have cared or looked into that. I'm also not actually sure if it matters.

If he planned to make a gaijin suicide that happened recently appear to be him it would make sense he'd try to ensure that he claimed to off himself ASAP so that dates are handwave-able.

This would explain his haste to get Null to do something and how he handled that part of the situation supports the contention that he's attempting to disappear using a different person's suicide. It also is supported by him emailing at around 9PM 26th which would be in line with a suicide happening during the 26th, give Byuu time to hear about it, realize what he could do, and slap a plan together before EOD.

However the tinfoil theory is less supported by the timeline itself, I'd argue that if the suicide he's trying to use was on the 26th, him claiming to carry out the threat by 11:30 AM JST on the 27th does not necessarily support this, as it is likely that the actual death would be reported as for the previous day (the day the email first came to Null on) and not the day the he claims to have carried out his suicide.


Still, I like the logic here, and it's not nearly as crazy as it sounds. Sometimes a "good plan" is less planning and more exploiting circumstances that fall into your lap half-competently and very quickly.

The problem will be tracking down obits for foreign suicides in US papers, which has the potential to put this theory in the running, but is also harder to track down because we don't have a name for someone that isn't Byuu.

Edit: Thinking about it, this gives us at least one scenario where Byuu couldn't have killed himself the way we are told he did. If we see a suicide on the 26th and none on the 27th, or later by up to 6 days (let's entertain a delay in proper pronouncements of death, but something tells me the Japanese aren't post-dating death certs so I'm not sure I believe that), assuming dates reported are JST, we know it's a fake for sure. Because it would mean Byuu would need a fucking time machine (so not dead) or he actually died before he supposedly emailed Null and everything after the 26th is somebody else. And frankly both of these scenarios are within the realm of possibility.

What if the pictures of the medication and the description of the suicide are actually from someone else that killed himself and he wasnt doing anything because he wanted him fucking dead so he could pull his stunt.

I was kind of thinking the same thing. You'd think at least a local news site or something in Japan would have mentioned it if a white troon killed himself. While they do have a high suicide rate, they don't have many non-Japanese, and very few troons, so it would have been at least somewhat of a local oddity.
