I think if people who understood the new wave of troonism and had to cap off any description of the troon lifecycle it would be this. From the grooming to the 'why does nobody love me' to the self mutilation and the cycle continues. Take the pills, praise the amhole, recruit more troons, disturb women, get the cock chop and 41%.
It's impossible to tell if the Korps was pozzed by any one person's influence or if it was a victim of the overall internet cultural zeitgeist shift after orange man bad. After and maybe 2-3 years before was around the time that SAGA/MOGAI (sexuality and gender alliance/marginalized orientations and gender alignments or identities, yes it's that convoluted) started becoming a big trendy thing on tumblr and by proxy twitter. You could argue that was around the time that Transtrending really took off for the troons and wannabe troons the farm sees so often now.
I mention orange man because I get the impression most of the nu-Korps' reason for existence is all 'the so called good guys want us dead so we're villains now and we're actually the good guys but not really cause society thinks we're eeevil so we'll be eeevil out of spite' and that seems like a byproduct of minor TDS or the usual troon rebelliousness against society with no introspection.
It's entirely possible that Korps' rebranding just happened, as it appealed to Dave Sr's fetishes for supervillain women and what seems to be an inevitable fetish spiral unique to furries, specifically his attraction to apple shaped bodies, huge pregnancies, mind control or hypnosis and all manner of other shit.
If I had to ascribe a pattern to some behaviors I've observed I'd probably go with the following:
At some point nerdy dudes get tired of interesting/tropey/samey male characters in their fiction so they invent interesting female characters under the same convention. Badass, no nonsense, cold, ruthless killer etc. Essentially swapping the sex of a male scifi or fantasy character. As one would expect the nuance of the character doesn't exactly hold up to scrutiny, and it would be very obvious a man wrote the character or the character was intended to be male. Literary shit, not that important. Then, as is customary with the male nerd, the masturbatory aid starts to creep in. Now the nerd has a badass character he can also beat off to without feeling gay. Cue the erosion of the things that originally spawned the character. It devolves over time into a purely masturbatory character. Scifi or fantasy stuff is thrown in as weak theming elements or even repurposed as justification for more edge fetishes.
Then enter the smoking gun, self insertion. This I feel is where the troon weeds begin to grow. At some stage, Example Nerd stops thinking 'I want to fuck/jack off to this character' to 'I want to be this character' and the slope gets a second coating of slippery. At this point, our female scifi character is still written and acts like a man but has a female body. Our example nerd is starting to wonder what it would like to be this character since they've become relatively or in some cases extremely attached. In the case of furries, this character has likely become a mascot and replaced whatever came before purely out of continued interest.
In today's fetid, amhole-ridden twittersphere of which furries are an extremely common citizen the terms transgender, transition, etc etc are thrown around. The concept of gender is eroded to 'Whatever you FEEL like' and either the gears start turning on their own or a passing crab sees another to be dragged into the bucket. Consider Strype's original trans bingo and how general it is. Consider how extremely general most trans bingo/trans egg images are. Example Nerd already has a female character as a mascot, already beats off consistently to her, already wonders what it would be like to be her. You can fill in the rest of the story from there.
