"Scenes from a Hat" is a standard segment on Whose Line Is It Anyway? An improv show. Many conventions/bars/etc hold their own versions of this for fun now due to the lasting popularity of the series. It's likely that he's going to attempt improv standup- possibly with others in his network or with GDQ as it's still "from home" this year.

Chibi's just desperate to fit into any group and get any kind of validation, so he latches onto anything he can find. It's something I and probably most of us did in high school, but the problem is Chibi's 30 fucking 1. Changing your outlook on things is tough but he's running out of time to not be socially stunted into adulthood. If he'd just drop the damn Discord anime circlejerk and streamer bullshit maybe he'd have a happier life.

I have no clue on who the right arrow person is, but I found comments suggesting the guy on the left went by "SSBMStuff". He did a Spyro 2 race after the Tomba 2 run.

Chibi was up front for 4 runs during SGDQ 2014 around the time of the Tomba 2 run. Here are the links for each if you'd like to try and dig stuff from it, or in general see how things went with Chibi on the other runs.

Now imagine that somebody does something incredibly cringe at this event, to the point where it becomes infamous. I believe the brand became ruined because of this, as the number one thing this person would be known for to most of the internet would be "I would really prefer it if you'd be quiet". There's no growth from there, only flies that want to eat the shit from that legacy and gain something from it for themselves.

I believe changing the name was the right thing to do in his case. Anything he can do to separate himself from Chibi and that event is an excellent move on his part for whatever it is that he wants to do, and I believe freedom from constant association with Chibi whether he liked it or not is his "new horizons".

That’s actually a fair point. I would probably be mad all the time and end up resetting my Internet presence if my one big break was overshadowed by a sperg-out

Thanks everyone, so to recap the guy on the left is/was SSBMStuff who quit speedrunning around 5 years ago, deleting his Twitter and Twitch accounts. (good for him I reckon) still speedruns Spyro.
Guy on the right is MechaRichter, last Twitch stream was 2 years ago, now exists mostly as a pronouns-in-the-bio Tweeter.

For some reason I thought that at least one of them had trooned out. I remember scrolling through his Twitter timeline just astonished by how many times he would tweet "I'm a girl!", over and over again like some baffling self affirming mantra.
I wasn't able to find it again and was hoping my memory was right and it was one of these two, oh well. I'm sure whoever it is, is doing juuuuust fiiiiine.

Saboom still streams, almost got WR back in spyro 1 a week ago. His streams are kind of jarring (but he seems like a nice, genuine guy) because it's just way, way, WAY too deep for a spyro game but i suppose if that kind of discussion tickles your fancies, you can find his stream.
