I'm pretty sure both of these videos are confirmed to not be real (due to mole placements or whatever), but its still funny to think about.

Oh my fucking god, and this dude made a wedding video? I would have no self-esteem and no dignity to have a wedding with a bitch that fucks with other man and post a video of a wedding to YouTube. Dude is down tremendous.

Doesn't affect me that much, his content is fucking garbage nowadays and his game taste is shit. His personality is obnoxious too.

Well, take a look I suppose. [still archiving this]
Wow, wonder when someone more autistic then me will comb through the video and find where Dream set up/cheated "Totally naturally" did something that is impossible or extremely unlikely to happen within the game.

Literally in the first 50 seconds he jumps off a tall floating land mass and falls into a 1x4 villager farm.
Around 1:55 to 2:10 he kills 3 people with nothing but bread with some obvious cuts in-between.
He wiped the hunters around 6:30 to 8:20 ish with most of the going down in one hit , he also did another boat jump thing but not from as high or with the crafting.
23:45 he flew a boat across a ravine in the nether , none of the hunters had bows i guess.
the nether part is full of almost bullshitty stuff , he jumped probably 40~50 ish blocks and landed on hay and survived with half a heart.
36:57 he makes a fucking airship and goes off to a end city to gear up.

This gave me a thought, has anyone autistically combed through his manhunt vids to see his drop rates to check against his speedruns? Would be a shame if they were noticeably higher than his speedrun trades :cunningpepe:

A small interview of Dream:

This has nothing to do with Dream, but:
Anything coming from this YouTube channel I take with massive grains of salt. They remind me of Games Journo publications like Kotaku or Polygon, where they hastily pump out videos about any hot topics (sometimes completely unrelated to gaming, such as the Jaystation dead girlfriend fiasco), and have also been called out for plagiarizing others.

Once you realise it's semi-scripted like some reality shows, it all comes together. Does he use macros and intentionally gets his HP down to half a heart for clickbait? Does 2+2=4?

I still find these videos entertaining despite the green cheater involved. I honestly hope SmallAnt does similar ones. It's a waste of time really. Yeah there is a spectrum of skill involved but why, we all know it's semi-scripted, the drop rates are increased...

I watched the "Extra Scenes" video which was basically porn acting.

Some of the "hunters" will ask good questions and then shut themselves down whenever they hear half assed answers. Also when Dream swooped in and killed one of them he admits he was AFK. 200 IQ isn't it?

The guy that did the math for the original document refuses to even touch the statistics on manhunts, claiming you'd have to be dumb as fuck to care about Dream "cheating" in his manhunts. That said, because I'm dumb as fuck I watched his unedited manhunt from November, and the pearl rates were 1:1 with the cheated runs.

According to Dream, if the hunters kill him prior to the 15 minute mark, they get paid a couple grand and they start again on a new seed. This lets him do more risky plays early on while still ending up with a video that's friendly to the YT algorithm. Whether or not you believe the hunters getting paid for shorter videos, it only makes sense that they'd keep trying until they get a 30+ minute session.

As for the boat jumps, they've become a regular strategy that MC players do now. Since you generally have a 3-6 second window to place the boat and click in, it's fairly reliable.

23:45 he flew a boat across a ravine in the nether , none of the hunters had bows i guess.
The only way to get ammo for bows involves either grinding a lot of gravel and chickens. Since gravel's only got a 10% chance of dropping flint, making bows just isn't feasible for the hunters.

the nether part is full of almost bullshitty stuff , he jumped probably 40~50 ish blocks and landed on hay and survived with half a heart.
This actually tracks. Hay bales are coded to prevent lethal damage for falls under 100 blocks. Given how the nether generates, you will never find a ledge high enough to kill you when you land on a hay bale.

I thought it was suspicious at first, but the code was pretty straight forward.

36:57 he makes a fucking airship and goes off to a end city to gear up.
Tbh, the airship made perfect sense. In cases like Dream trapping the hunters on the nether roof or Sapnap resetting the Ender dragon, they're using a strategy that's so outlandish that the other side won't have time to respond.

If you were one of these kids, the best strategy for gaining the upper hand is to do something so ridiculous that nobody in their right mind would prepare for it. However, that doesn't make the fact that these kids pulled it off suspicious per se. What is suspicious is when you have a strategy with clear success that isn't getting repeated, like grinding villager trades to get enchanted gear or going to a second stronghold when the hunters are camping the first one's portal room.

Of course, the series is meant to be entertaining. Having everyone repeat the exact same strategies in each video is going to get stale and bore the audience. Same with the hunters or Dream doing actions that hard lock the other side from winning.

I've talked about using a flying machine to get the elytra in this series before, that was far before all the cheating niggery. I also mentioned exploits to damage the portal at some point, I guess that's not allowed.

Glad the elytra thing did happen in the end. I knew he was making some kind of flying contraption when he was getting slime blocks, I thought it was gonna be some kind of tnt duper above the dragon's perch point, it was... far more autistic.

Yeah I thought that was impossible, turned out the hunters boosted him into the water, it's like 2x6 or something, not that hard. They revealed something else, they have some guy wasting his GPU that could be used to mine ETH on finding "good hunter seeds". That kind of spawn was just unrealistic.

You also need arrows for the bow which means you'd need a skeleton farm (why) or gather flint and feathers to make arrows, which is in the show's context, why? So the only reliable method is getting it from chests or obviously bartering.

Of course they didn't have it. They can probably get one person to farm next time...

The End City is 1500-2000 blocks away from the main island, the flying machine travels at like 1 block a fucking second, so it took him a good 15-30 minutes just to get there. They even lamented about how long it took. Dumb thing to do but not being AFK wouldn't change shit when you're so dumb, you have a ledge hanging above the void with zero protection. What were they thinking, he'll just stay there and cause a draw?

Seems scripted to me, having the 2 best combaters just lose all their shit.

Tbh at first I thought that was his goal. Either make it impossible to kill him, or make them kill the dragon to get to the outer islands.

As for the AFK thing, all they knew was that Dream left in that direction and was gone for at least an hour. From the way Dream flew in, it looks like he was well out of their field of view, so they wouldn't have had any chance to react unless one of the other 3 were watching their backs.

Chances are they were assuming he'd use the flying machine or End gateways to get back, since gliding back to the main island without rockets is impossible.

Expect a new song soon, I guess.

IIRC in one of the videos they covered it with obsidian and he had to go to a different stronghold. I'm assuming they made portal stuff against the rules after that.
They destroyed the portal once with a mushroom glitch and then agreed not to mess with it since, it was in the "finale rematch" where Dream got killed with potions.
