Cyberpunk 2077 Grieving Thread

Plus WIII at least had fucking Gwent. There's JACK SHIT in Night City, unless you count crappy melee quests or driving quests. They could have at least made a Samurai minigame that plays like Guitar Hero or Yakuza's karaoke sections. SOMETHING.
Honestly if the melee combat wasn't so horrid I'd love to head to Totentanz and fight in the arena there for eddies. Same with the driving since street racing is a thing in NC, just like every other big city. Could also do Nomad rally races out in the badlands. As someone who is a fan of the cyberpunk genre and was a fan of CDPR I'm just left embittered and saddened by the game since there's so fucking much they could have done. All of those one-off things like the above, plus the shooting gallery, could have become recurring mini-activities for eddies, XP and rep.

The Netflix show really tainted the interest i have in the series. Like...the fans of the show have essentially invaded the games and it sucks.
Blood and Wine is by far the best. My personal favorite dlc. Everything about it from the music to the characters to the French esque setting is so well crafted.

It invaded Gwent, their little standalone card game, but thankfully CDPR probably realized most people don't want to watch a cringey Witcher convention involving the trash Netflix series, so the in-game event is tolerable. They still gave out some pretty low-effort cosmetics. It's free, so whatever, but the quality is a downgrade. Even more than the crappy Cyberpunk Coin and Cardback.

CDPR's designs are on the left- from their Battlepasses of Geralt, Ciri, and Yennefer. The Netflix coins are on the right.
It took me nearly a minute to try and figure out what the fuck the Netflix Geralt, Ciri, and Yennefer coins even were. The design is that bad.

But they're free if you're playing the game as you normally do. So whatever.

The shadowing on his face makes him look way more evil and menacing.

Bad call I say. Probably like everything added to this sure to be mess of a remaster.

Oh my god keep digging that hole CDPR...

Anyway took me 5 times to beat Anna Nox. Had to literally stand on the roof of the warehouse to hit her...and it hardly did damage. When I got her health down to like 30 because I ran out of ammo, I used my Witcher sword and almost died a 6th time. God it was hard. But then I'm also like still in act 1. This was after meeting the fat black pimp guy in the car.

nigger do all side quests for XP and rep, also dismantle every single fucking equipment you'll get, only keep uniques because you can upgwade them and pick your perks to crit shit.

depends on the deus ex.
since they went from this
to this
course the graphs are better but no stereotypical chinese music either...
also they finally fixed cp2077's radio and it now plays themed music instead of rap.
the MOD soundtrack just hits different.

also weren't they super proud about their "cyberpunk doesn't need synthwave" soundcloud rapper contributions?

I'd say The Witcher 2 had a bit more hype around it, it certainly led up to the witcher 3.
2 was good for the people that cared about good games (just look at the alternatives at the time), that word of mouth carried over towards 3 and was part of the hype before the game even came out. mainstream casuals just jumped on the hypetrain.

It is insane that there were never any mini games to play in the city. They could have had arcades and gambling shit or something. Shenmue did it over 20 years ago.

instead we got a really nice looking city with almost nothing to do in it. For that reason it’s probably the most frustrating game I’ve ever played.

well, you'd need someone smart enough to recognize you could turn all those gimmicks into recurring minigames (heck I'm surprised they didn't because that's such basic shit these days where you can pretty much expect any new mechanic will be re-used over and over), and someone smart enough to understand you'd need it in an open world game, then people competent enough and with enough time to properly implement it and make it fit the progression etc...

Doesn't this corrupt the save file or did they fix that?
long since fixed, i think it was on 1.2 patch.

they were, until their own fans started complaining that it wasn't cyberpunky.
also the MOD soundtrack is matter of taste, to me it sounds fhucking therrible.

You're likely aware of this, but for everyone else these coins would be $6.99 each if CDPR had decided to sell them in the game's store because it would be bundled with 400 Meteorite Powder (the game's premium currency) which is used to craft the animated versions of your cards.
