Also because most people in the US simply don't care about trans issues one way or the other. The average boomer probably doesn't even know a trans person.

The average Democrat hates the Democrat party already and just votes for them because they hate the other side more. And vice versa with Republicans. Unless they are affected in an extremely personal way, I doubt something like trans issues will tip the scales when everyone is so used to being sad and disappointed.

Nothing says "good time" like downing a bunch of bars and stretching the artificial hole in your crotch so you can trick some dude into believing you're a true & honest woman with "an irritation" or "some kind of problem down there."

The "problem" is that it's not a real vagina and you will never convince anyone otherwise.
