I might never do anything with this idea since writing isn't my thing but his robot body tweets did give me inspiration for a neat sci-fi story. The general gist of it would be some scumbag gets the robot body of his dreams with the ability to improve on its programming. While he believes he'll be an immortal ubermensch, he's a poor example of the human mind to begin with. So pieces of his data are overwritten bit by bit as time passes and he's never is able to fully comprehend or even suspect he's being metaphorically eaten alive. In the end, his dream was realized even if he ceased to be on every conceivable level. Absolute bliss while experiencing his "self" die in a way he can't understand.

Probably not super original but I think of the concept sometimes. His "Superior Future" is unironically a good source for sci-fi and dystopia ideas.

OK, is it just me or does a vaccine not qualify as "medicine"? I'm not talking about concerns of efficacy over the Covid stuff, I'm talking in general. Medicine is used to treat a disease the patient has, to make you not sick. "Make you sick to make you not-sicker." doesn't qualify by my lights, like how chemotherapy is a drug to treat a disease (almost textbook definition medicine) but it does it by killing you slower than it kills the disease - it doesn't "feel" like medicine. Calling a prophylactic like a vaccine "medicine" makes as much sense to me as calling a cast on a broken limb "medicine".

But then it's all academic since the bluecheck is clearly using incorrect phrasing to make his opponents look like morons, like how being against mandatory vaccination legislation or not taking it because you have an immune disorder gets you called an anti-vaxxer.

It always seems like it's one step forward, two steps back with the villains in the MCU.

Every time they do a Thanos, or Kilmonger, or Vulture, you think they've finally figured it out. You think they've cracked the code on how to make a memorable, iconic villain.

But then you get 3 more unmemorable non-characters.

This was always a problem for me because I love villains. I'm much more of a villain guy than a hero guy. It's probably one of the reasons I love the horror genre so much. It's a genre that's very often driven by the villains.

I’ve been binge watching a lot of MCU movies and DC animated shows I watched as a kid and you know what I’ve realized, I think I liked the villains more than the heroes. I think what drew me in for a lot of these movies/shows was the villains.

I wished we could get tv shows about villains. Good original ones where the villain actually achieves their goal.

Nothing like that Harley Quinn mess.
