Honestly, Dave getting an Xbox X Series S X Crapbox, or wtv fucking name they gave it, is a great filler arc. First we get to speculate how he got the Xbox. My theory which others seem to be thinking as well is that he bought the Xbox and made it seem this quiet fan gave it to him. What is weird about this fan is that he didn't use it for 8 months and didn't know that Microsoft releases Xbox games on PC the same day. I am sorry I don't believe a PC gamer didn't know the duel release for Xbox games. Hell I play mostly on PlayStation and even I know Xbox games come out on PC the same day.
Second we get fans asking him why its justified that he begs after he got the free Xbox. Then Dave saying his Xbox doesn't pay the bills so stopping asking about it.
Third fans will ask him to do a giveaway for his old consoles, but then Dave saying he cant because of shipping costs and going to UPS would be tiring for him.

I am not angry about this idiot getting a free Xbox from a fan buying an Xbox and getting $300 on prestream today. If anything it makes me laugh at all the lies he makes to convince his autistic fan-base to give him more money. You keep doing you Phil, never change you fat piece of shit.

I'm surprised I'm being accused of this when I've given pretty much the same speech you're giving to others in the thread but understandable. The computer wasn't detecting his graphics card. What probably happened was that a cable got lodged during transit or driver compatibility issues came up. Phil is too stupid to even attempt troubleshooting. He sees Rage (a poorly-optimized game) getting 5fps, looking "chahppy," and immediately whines and gives up.

I tuned in today for the big surprise reveal that I had hoped would be more interesting than him having a Xbox. Now he has one.

This is not something to lose your minds over. If you fall into the camp of he bought it for himself, which is what I firmly believe, then how are any of you shocked that he held a fundraiser on Saturday? Fuck, once he announced the surprise I got convinced he bought the damn thing before the fundraiser happened and this was to put him back in the black, or to cover the cost + some extra money. This is pretty par for the course bullshit for Phil.

I want to add this and I want to make it perfectly clear, and I don't mean this to in any way be taken as insulting or condescending or anything like that: if there's ever a time that you get actually mad at Phil, to the point where you're feeling the need to make multiple posts here, or anywhere else expressing that anger, take a break. Talk to friends, or family. Get some exercise, or just do something fun. This isn't even a "don't give the DSP fans any ammo" bullshit, this is genuine advice from someone who has run into that sort of wall before. This isn't something worth getting mad about, and it's not something worth dwelling on. You get mad and post about how angy you are on the thread, it doesn't hurt Phil, it doesn't change reality, it doesn't make anything better, it just makes you feel much worse because you're angry.
