I feel like Bonnie would be a turkey, because they're stupid enough that people claim they will drown looking up at the rain much like Bonners drowns as he watches his life savings and his mother's co-sign in the absolute incompetence of the tranch. Also I hate birds that are big enough to attack. Perhaps a Turkey Vulture specifically (I know those aren't technically turkeys proper but it kinda suits him)
Penny strikes me as something sinister. Someone up thread mentioned weasel, could fit and they do raid eggs a lot which is topical. Alternatively, I'd get a kick out of Pen being a Texas Horned Toad. They shoot blood out of their eyes when attacked to drive their predator away, but I like to think Penny does it and then blames the person who surprised him for his blood.

Okay so I reached out to the Animal Control thread to ask about a few furries to see if we could get an even milkier time here. Oh god do we ever.
Firstly, Sparx (who is posting on the denfurco site and clearly works for them) has been ID'd as a furry troon who does ball inflation with saline and is an AGP lolcow in his own right.
Next, we got a big one lads...

So the people who run Corgi Events LLC (company behind Denfur) have landed in hot water before over finance choices. Corey Wood (Treble) has been kicked off of con boards before and currently has an angry LA furry who used to date??? him who post about his and the LLC's issues, and the other person who "runs" the LLC- Bubbles Fennec.
Hard evidence includes Treble being sued by a suit maker company for defrauding them of a large sum. Dissident Furs also did a more in-depth write up here.

Penny reminds me of a giant praying mantis because of his face and long-limbed build. It is a dangerous-looking, aggressively predatory insect. The larger female often cannibalizes the smaller male during copulation.
Bonnie resembles a bulldog because he has a chubby, naturally burly body. Bulldogs also have those wide-set eyes and a pronounced underbite. They look surly and extremely masculine, just like Bonnie always does.

Look up the Tiger Force. iirc like 20 of them were actually convicted of war crimes and got to walk. There was also the dude who ordered the My Lai massacre who showed absolutely no remorse for it. Obviously no one as famous as Dirlewanger because they didn't have a whole fucking brigade named after them.
