I though the point would be "first level is something that was thought to be lost, but eventually was found, next we go to something hardly accessible, then to something that certainly exists, but can't be found/someone owns it and keeps it to themselves, then something truly lost and in the end something, that probably doesn't even exist in the first place". But nope - it's just all over the place. What is the point then? Just talk about lost gameshows.

Talk about true horror, I'm not a squeamish person at all but this gave me nightmares.

Couldn't stand how quiet his voice was, so I tracked down the article for myself, and it was something alright. I've heard of worse medical horrors, though.

This might not really count here since it's arguably in a different genre, but Chubbyemu's channel is a pretty good place to start if you find medicine to be an interesting subject. The guy who runs it is a doctor, and many of the cases he showcases are ones that he's either personally seen, or are taken directly from current events taking place. Occasionally cases are combined to allow for more information to be shown on the biological processes at work, but everything's sourced and cited as well.

Been seeing him in recommendations lately, I'll check him out.

That's not too obscure, since Null made a stream about it. I want him to talk about some drama with Glaive. From what I was able to get, there was a female user, who was an attention whore, but in the end she had some admirers. Glaive was one of them and went as far as fucking her (?), but she got him hooked on coke and it didn't go well for him. There is a possibility that he was behind 2019 hack.

Yes, it was a legit research paper, if you wanna read it most I could find for free is this preview but I'm sure the full thing is pirated somewhere.
I also second the recommendation of chubbyemu, his videos are both funny and informative, and pretty fascinating when it comes to showcasing the kind of shit the human body is capable of. Not exactly horror but if you're into medical morbidity definitely check him out.

Well, healthcare was utter garbage back then, there are probably hundreds of diseases that have gone extinct thanks to medical advancements. If it still existed today I'd agree that we would've seen another case like it already, so thank fucking god it doesn't lol. Normally I would also doubt an old article claiming something that hasn't happened before or since then with the only proof being the author's word, but since it's a legit medical journal I believe it
