I wish I took note of this rant so I could pull up the vod, but he recently went on a fucking tirade about how he doesn't have 'favorites.' Only immature kids have a favorite movie, food, game, etc. Real mature adults realize the world's not black and white blah blah blah. I was genuinely gobsmacked.

I remember something like that, but in PigpigGo all I could find was this where he says he doesn't have favorites because "he doesn't believe in absolutes". I remember him ranting, but this isn't the rant.

Personally I just love the insinuation that Phil totally wouldn't have been begging for tips this week if he did hit the 1500 goal. Or that he'll definitely lower the goal and won't raise it again in the near-future.

My vote is when he has a minor dry spell and he can’t afford to buy whatever Kat is demanding of him.

That or the old standby of the first real medical emergency or major household repair. I can’t wait for Phil to find out what it costs to fix or replace a dishwasher. He’s going to void his bowels on the spot.

Yeah I think many of us will have moved on from Phil when he has his next real "emergency". Only thing similar that could happen in the next 5 years besides losing his youtube is a legit health crisis or kat leaves him. Phils going to be here for awhile longer.

'If Nintendo does things that you don't agree, that you didn't ask, stop supporting them!' and saying that you shouldn't give money if they don't improve, because this is bad and things will never change and Nintendo will never change their behavior. Saying that you should boycott Nintendo and don't give them money.

I just assume DSP will beg regardless, but you raise a good question as to why his fans don't just instantly hit the tips goal every stream. Traditional streamer I'd say they only donate if they're having fun, but with DSP it's supposed to be about supporting him (which is creepy and hilarious that he frames it like that).

I think DSP accidentally conditioned his (authentic Italian) fans to give him money when he begs. His begging is so constant and invasive that if he halts the begging the whales assume everything is good and DSP's unquenchable money thirst has finally been sated.

And that is exactly what would have happened if he had gotten that Wolverine figure he wanted, forgotten in a week like all the other toys his parents no doubt spoiled him with. The funny part is he only remembers the things he didn't get because he's so entitled he thinks it's the biggest slight in the world that a child didn't get a rare toy.

My parents are so fuckin stupid, dood. They could have totally gaht me that Wolverine "action figure". They had the money. It's almost like they were trying to teach me a lesson. Fucking assholes. It's a longshot, but at this point it would have to be MidFirst Bank deciding to go after DSP for the difference. That would be a nice five-figure sum.

Or eventually, DSP is going to be fucking with the IRS too much and come after him for a lump sum. The bankruptcy arc may have been a bust, but the IRS will go full "fuck you, pay me" on him if they get bored enough and DSP just keeps tacking on more debt to them.

It wouldn't surprise me at all tbh. Whenever something has gone down because of these REEMERGENCY streams, it's normally because Phil has done something stoopid himself (getting dropped by multiple partnerships, hoping from stream platform to stream platform) or his own inactions have put him in hot water (countless back taxes, mortgages payments, these mysterious "bills" as well that he always talks about).

So we may not have anything big occurring in the goutsphere for a long time, but it's only a matter of time till he does something again, plus I think it's been normal to have mostly dry spells of months where nothing major happens to him and only smaller predicaments pop up (although when you think about these time periods in particular, that's only because he's purposefully withholding information from his viewers, or he wants to keep things a surprise because stuff is happening "behind dah scenes") like during the few months before Kat arrived when things were a bit strange and the second half of 2019 when trolls started to fish for drama because that was beforehand the inevitable bankruptcy, when he was probably getting very agitated and kept things very hush hush, despite immediately finding out about it soon after anyway.

There's always potential emergencies once Phil's income starts dropping because he won't alter his gacha game spending.

But, for real emergencies, the only impending ones can arise from Phil's failing health. And even then, I'm sure he could beg $20k for a surgery like Wings did.

We can literally see him deteriorating in real time. He has significantly less muscle mass than most women his age. He's completely pale because he only goes outside once per week in the Northwest US (the most notoriously unsunny weather in the US). Literally any physical exertion is an event for him. He admitted that moving the PS4 between rooms was too much work for him, and that was years ago.

DSP legit, no sarcasm, may need physical therapy his muscles have atrophied so much.
