That man is like a fungus on top of the already doomed to fail fungus that is the ranch. I have so many mixed feelings on this. One is revulsion since I've known people like this before and I may not like the tranch but don't exactly wish them this either. But another is thinking that this might be an accelerant to some other drama or a drama in its own right and it might be hilarious if the unicorns handle it poorly (it will be hilarious if by some miracle they do it well too since Byran will not handle it well and will seethe publicly).

Someone earlier said the tranch would work much better if they had bought just 10-15 or so alpacas and a few other animals and promoted it as a petting zoo/holistic therapy retreat for "queer" people. Why they decided to build a massive herd of economically useless animals is beyond me. Some

More alpacas = more money. You have to wait however many montha to shave all of them and you have to make that money last and suppliment it with other ventures like ducks and such. Plus they're so cute I wouldn't be surprised if Penny liked hoarding them because of the jolt of "d'aww" he gets. That's my guess combined with the previously stated hubris and stupidity.

@Borscht you need to make your own ranch, but with hookers and blackjack (but without money so you can still keep the "healing" apperance).

They did eat that one lamb that died and made it into (very charred and unappetizing) lamb shoulder. Though why they don't eat at least on of their alpaca is beyond me. I checked and yes alpaca is edible.

Depending on the cause of death and whether they could have been assed to take it to a butcher or not, I wouldn't blame them for not eating one. I think one of the reasons is that the tranchers are too attached to them in particular, and the other is that they would all be too scared to try and eat something that far out of their comfort zone, with only one or two of them trying it.

Phil says the lamb they ate wasn't theirs but who knows.

This right here is a single use, disposable salt grinder. They have so many fucking people, and nobody thought to buy a real salt shaker or salt mill? Seriously? These things are a couple bucks a pop, and they're *tiny* and they're not reloadable. I'd bet good money that if they're using the salt ones, they're using the pepper ones too. This is quite possibly the most expensive way to season your food, and really only makes sense for some sort of camping go-kit that you need to assemble in an afternoon.

This is pure financial waste to save the time and effort of going to literally any home store or dollar store and buying a real mill for a few dollars. But remember, give them another 100k, and they'll spend it responsibly.

They're probably too malnourished to be worth the effort of butchering. It's also generally not a great idea to eat downed livestock. They may at least have figured that much out.
