That's optimistic. People actually publically labeling themselves as "immunocompromised" on Twitter probably self diagnosed, are a classic case of munchausens, or just have a barely lower than average white blood cell count which barely makes a difference. This isn't a trolling or raid forum, but I am sure there's at least some overlap of people that post here and people that engage cows in one way or another.

Edit: And this isn't a "Gotcha! One of them admitted it!" moment either. Those people are also on Twitter, and they will talk to other "trolls" on there in DMs. Doesn't make Twitter a fucking hatespeech forum, now does it? Most of that shit will be planned and spoken about on Discord anyway.

Okay, let's not. But what's the proof it's one of ours in this particular case? It could be a chan kiddie, and we've seen isolated incidents of "wait, where's the evidence?" on Twitter and Reddit too, so trying to get to the truth of this is no longer confined to the "shitholes of the internet."

(But, yes, if it is one of you speds, knock it off. The password reset link isn't going to magically get sent to you on the 43rd time you try it or something.)

I window shopped at meatspin, goatse, tubgirl and lemonparty but left unsatisfied. For now I'm rolling with this picture that @What the shit thoughtfully sent in. Combined with a custom title I think I'll blend a bit better from hereon out.

I'm not sure if anyone actively dove into this yet, I only saw one farmer complain that it didn't give too much information. They were probably retarded.

If you actually do search for "Wayne Beckett" you'll find plenty of very convincing references that this is an actual person/project manager for a company that works on a field closely related to what byuu/Near did. Let's follow the trail. Use DuckDuckGo and follow along.

First result I got was a LinkedIn directory:

The Wayne Beckett that stands out here is at Datapower Development in Hong Kong. It's not Japan, but at least somewhat close. Wayne talks about "People in the Tokyo office" so there's multiple locations of their company. Datapower sounds at least somewhat related to IT stuff.

Way down the list is a link to a 2012 ArsTechnica article that strikes gold:

This is as close to what byuu/Near did with emulation as you can get. Of course they might not have been save game hacking or whatever, but it's console related, pretty deep reverse engineering stuff.

The ArsTechnica article mentions that Wayne works for Hyperkin, probably another or earlier business name for Datapower Development. If you then search "Hyperkin Wayne Beckett" on DuckDuckGo you find all kinds of references to Wayne in their position as a project manager related to console hacking and emulation. Where Wayne is again quoted as is, but with the Datapower company name and referring to a distributor in Japan. And related to Snes9x.

I think you all sure left a lot of investigation on the table. The above doesn't prove that @Wayne Beckett is real life Wayne Beckett, but given their statements, the subject topic and context it does kind of start to connect together. No hard facts, but I think there's a bit of credibility building to the entire story. Some of the links above go back many years, nobody in the world would be planning a fake trail with fake names and fake companies for a fake persona that didn't exist yet for that long I think.

Fact is that "Wayne Beckett" is an actual person. Working at a company that is closely related to byuu/Near's field of expertise. Having at least a main office in China. Referring to a subsidiary in Japan. Even though KF @Wayne Beckett might be an imposter, the trail itself does start to make sense and starts to connect to byuu/Near.

Next up would be to prove that byuu/Near worked for Datapower Development, Hyperkin or a subsidiary. And maybe dig for office photos. (Half joking there.)

We knew as much from when he started posting here. It still seems weird to me. Why would anyone tech savvy, who has a long career in the IT field, sign up here with their real name, and then get into slap fights with speds while being tactless and disrespectful to an allegedly dead coworker? And if they really are that much of an idiot to actually do something as stupid as that, there should be way more sperging of his to be found online. Except he seems to have very little footprint on the internet -- which should be an indication that he doesn't really behave as he did here.

And if he usually does it under a pseudonym, then why in the world sign up on one of the most hated sites on the internet with his real name? No matter how I look at it, it doesn't add up.

It's just one of the many inconsistencies about this that irk me. There's a long list of those, and none of them make sense.

But what would that accomplish? We know Wayne Beckett is a real person (but that the account here is likely not him), and we know Byuu worked for a tech company. None if that is really helpful in confirming his death, unless you want to go touch poo and call up his coworkers to confirm that he is still alive.

On second thought, that might be a viable option at this point, since Byuu's shitty internet sycophants are doing real damage to the farms.

If Wayne Beckett were real and Byuu was really dead he would have simply sent us the obituary to prove it, period. Either the one his family put out, or the obituary made by the company Byuu worked for. That alone proves the Beckett account is not really him unless he is also in on it. There is no need at all to hide a public obituary, especially since Byuu's 'friends' on twitter would also like to see it.

Thus it is possible that either Byuu himself or his friends are trolling Kiwifarms with an account made in the name of a coworker in the field. If so that's pretty despicable.
