Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

So what are the odds this will happen under Biden lol.

When are Americans going to realize no matter what we do, Afghanis are going to put the Taliban back in power once we're gone. It's what those people want, so just let them.

When they realize that Islam and even other nations see homosexuality as degeneracy. And its not because of "muh colonialism" or "muh evil white christians" or whatever shit. Not everyone is down for democracy or freedom or whatever.

The white man's burden has probably helped destroy the Western World in the long run.

Going off on a tangent here but I notice for example the Chinese just do business, they don't care if their business partners sacrifice babies to the God of Monke or cuts their wives' clitoris to prevent cheating, they just want money.

I was thinking about the 300 dollars a month for children and do you think the economy is even more fucked than they are letting on? That they need every dollar to flow to try and restart the economy?

We started 10 hour days at work to catch up with the orders we have. For instance one of our customers has ordered a quantity of 12 parts for years. This time they ordered 48. This just reminds me of the panic buying at the start of the pandemic. That it wasn't an "economic boom" because those people were buying what they usually buy just all at once. So are these companies buying parts to stave off inflation?

Also we are still having supply issues. Material that used to arrive next day is now taking 2-3 days due to lack of workers at the distribution warehouse. And that's if they have the material in the first place. They still are running low on various materials.

Just seems like Biden is trying to defibrillate an economy when in reality the arteries are all clogged up.

Because China has goals of "make money" and "secure its position."

Westerners have goals of "feel good" and "virtue signal." They don't have to make hard choices or deal with "unsavory people" because they think they can go else where that will cater to their ideals. Also upper class Westerners are ignorant as fuck on how the world works.

She's already quit. She is just going through the motions while ramping up the incompetency until its deemed smarter to pay her out of her contract rather than her making the administration look bad for another 9 months

We fucked up in Afghanistan once we turned from kicking out the Taliban to "nation-building". Simply not possible in Afghanistan. Too many tribes, too medieval. British learned this, so did the Soviets. We have wasted too many American lives and too much American money there for nothing. Get the interpreters and their families out and just let it go.

Didn't the supreme court say they could not offer a path to citizenship and sorry Joe but the constitution still exists.

I know not what industry you work in (nor ask you to PL) but that is certainly the case in many industries right now. Everyone expects inflation. Some people expect big inflation. Supermarkets have been buying in meat at far higher quantities as another example. Which means either they expect some kind of great social disruption that affects supply, or they're just confident that the amount they risk losing by the meat going off is less than how much they'll save when inflation moves from assets like houses and stocks to regular retail products. The whole theory behind the Fed's "Modern Monetary Theory" approach is that money printer go brrrr isn't inflationary if the money doesn't make it into the hands of ordinary people or can be taken back from them with high taxes. I.e. you can print lots of money and keep it in the hands of hedgefunds and banks 'where it belongs'.

You know what I think of that theory?

The Supreme Court made another of its retarded decisions during the Trump years by claiming that Trump couldn't revoke DACA because he didn't do it right or something like that. Because apparently, you actually can't just revoke an executive order with another executive order. Another case of Roberts cucking out again.

This recent ruling out of Texas, however, doesn't just state that DACA was unconstitutional from the get go due to not following the correct procedures for formal regulations. It goes on to say that even if it were done properly, it would still be unconstitutional because it breaks multiple federal laws already on the books concerning immigration. Congress is tasked with writing immigration law, and you can't just skirt around it because you need more slave labor you need more sex slaves it's the "right" thing to do. Yeah, this is obvious shit that people have been saying for almost a decade now, but it's good that finally a court has said as much.

The Biden administration will assuredly appeal this ruling, but for the time being, DACA's dead in the water. If it stays dead, then if the Dems want to keep these poor widdle illegals around, it'll be up to Congress to do their job properly and whip up an amnesty bill, which I could see going either way. On the one hand, senators like Manchin and Sinema and representatives in purple districts might oppose an amnesty bill due to wanting to avoid pissing off their constituents so they can get reelected. On the other, sufficient RINOs could tip the balance the other way, believing that this time cucking to another amnesty push will get those brown votes.

It's all so tiresome.

This is not new money. This is normally budgeted money. The Child Tax Credit is a predictable part of the budget. Trump doubled it during his presidency, and will get no credit for it even as they roll this out.

They’re taking the Credit and disbursing it prior to filing for this year, that’s all. They’re literally giving people back their own money, although for people making less than 40k or so with one kid they receive the credit in cash and pay no income taxes anyway.

For others though, there’s a decent chance that after getting their monthly deposit for the last six months of 2021, they will owe more than they usually would come next April, and if they were expecting a return, they will not get one. Because they already spent it.

It’s pointless bureaucracy designed to get people hooked on a monthly check from the government, and will screw over many families come tax day next year if they weren’t paying attention.

I like the idea of people getting to keep more of their own money as they make it, I don’t like how they’re literally pretending like it’s a brand new gift from the White House and a historic change in affairs.

We fucked up in Afghanistan when we failed to begin withdrawing once Bin Laden was killed. Rooting out the Taliban is practically impossible unless you're willing to genocide the Pashtun ethnic group.

Cucking to amnesty will be extinction for the GOP itself unironically. California is proof of that. GOP will just be a regional party never to win a national election unless someone decides not only to glow unironically but glow like a fucking supernova that nobody sees coming and decides to fix the demographics the old school way.

The RINOs don't care unless folks are willing to do more to hold them accountable.

I have a feeling there's gonna be a LOT of surprised pikachu faces come April.

I had heard about the grocery stores. That is what is making me concerned. This seems to be a widespread attitude that can't be caused by "we are expanding and need more parts."

I understand all that. My issue is did the government run out of people to give money to?
If the federal government holds on to it then it does nothing to stimulate the economy.

If it is given to corporations then they will buy back stocks which won't help the economy. Alternatively they don't have anywhere to really spend it. There is a steel mill in my area that built a new facility that is easily four times larger than their old one. Do they really need it though? Seems like production is meeting demand (at least under normal conditions.)

That would just leave consumers, in this case families. They need consumables. Supposedly it would help get things moving again.

Anyway that was my idea. People need to consume to get the economy back on track. It isn't working because we were primarily a service economy and all the locations for service businesses evaporated.

"They're a private company" has basically made the entire world a mining town where we have to use their scrip or die. We need Teddy Roosevelt levels of monopoly busting.

Anyway, Psaki is particularly dim because Facebook and Google HAVE colluded to ban people at the same time before, but it's not common enough knowledge to be an outrage, and now Psaki is like, "Well, we know they do this all the time, so why aren't they doing it NOW like we asked them to?" Idiot.
Is the ACLU going to say dick about this or is Kate Strangio too busy trying to literally ban books?
