The Supreme Court made another of its retarded decisions during the Trump years by claiming that Trump couldn't revoke DACA because he didn't do it right or something like that. Because apparently, you actually can't just revoke an executive order with another executive order. Another case of Roberts cucking out again.
This recent ruling out of Texas, however, doesn't just state that DACA was unconstitutional from the get go due to not following the correct procedures for formal regulations. It goes on to say that even if it were done properly, it would still be unconstitutional because it breaks multiple federal laws already on the books concerning immigration. Congress is tasked with writing immigration law, and you can't just skirt around it because you need more slave labor you need more sex slaves it's the "right" thing to do. Yeah, this is obvious shit that people have been saying for almost a decade now, but it's good that finally a court has said as much.
The Biden administration will assuredly appeal this ruling, but for the time being, DACA's dead in the water. If it stays dead, then if the Dems want to keep these poor widdle illegals around, it'll be up to Congress to do their job properly and whip up an amnesty bill, which I could see going either way. On the one hand, senators like Manchin and Sinema and representatives in purple districts might oppose an amnesty bill due to wanting to avoid pissing off their constituents so they can get reelected. On the other, sufficient RINOs could tip the balance the other way, believing that this time cucking to another amnesty push will get those brown votes.
It's all so tiresome.
