I hope that 'talking negatively' doesn't include criticism, because I have a bit to say about this. I'll try to respect Pippa's wishes and not be too harsh on management.
Her being wrangled this hard baffles me. I'm now under the assumption that Phase Connect management doesn't understand what Pippa's appeal is. It would be one thing if she decided to tone things down on her own terms, but that really doesn't appear to be the case at all.
My main confusion is this: Why are they now wrangling her so hard over this? I would understand if she was only told she couldn't do any more streams similar to the BaB one out of precaution, since it could be argued that it violated YouTube's overbearing and stupid 'Bullying and Harassment Guidelines'. But the thing is, they're taking even more steps further than just that. As pointed out earlier in the thread, she didn't even know if she was allowed to say the word "church" anymore. They've privated a couple of her streams/videos, and they've even taken away her Ram Ranch privileges. As Pippa said, management wants her to be more 'seiso' and 'positive' now.
This is incredibly dumb. Motherfuckers, if you want Pippa to be 'seiso', then you shouldn't have let her openly talk to fucking 4chan and cultivate an audience of anons and Kiwis in the first place.
If their goal was to have a somewhat generic seiso VTuber who is severely limited on what they can say and do, then they really should've just done that from the beginning. But nope, they've decided to nerf her now after she's already gotten a following. What's the point in advertising on 4chan and cultivating a viewerbase of anons if you're just going to nerf the talent after a certain period of time anyways?
One of Pippa's main appeals was the fact that she spoke her mind freely and was barely wrangled at all. She talked about all sorts of "yabai" things (people, sites, things, etc.) all the time on stream, and seemingly had no filter. She was basically allowed to just be herself. What does management expect her fans to do when they take away one of her main hooks? Do they really expect no pushback? What is the point of limiting her so harshly over one stream potentially 'crossing the line'?
Pippa, if you're reading this, none of this is your fault, and we will continue to support you. All of us here hope that management realizes their mistake and lets you regain your freedom, or at the very least that you and them reach a compromise that is good for both parties.
Also, if anyone has an archive of the BaB stream, please post it. I wasn't joking about potentially collecting information about the community for a thread. That stream is the best collection of information about the community that exists so far, and it would genuinely suck if it was lost forever. Update: An archive of the BaB stream has been found.

Her voice sounds painful to hear, it's like she almost lost her voice. Probably she forced her vocal cord too much lately, especially since she loves screaming or talking loudly. That or perhaps the changing season took a toll on her health. Summer in Japan is unbearably hot recently

Apparently she has vocal nodules, like callous on your vocal cord. The doctors said that because her nodules are small enough, she didn't need any surgery, just medicine and rest are enough. I'm going to miss her baba voice
Dammit, I was hoping it was just fatigue but turns out it really was nodules after all huh. Glad she doesn't need surgery at least, even though vocal nodule removal surgery has made huge strides I'm still reminded of how Julie Andrews basically had her entire singing career nuked after the surgery ruined her voice. Not sure if anyone else here is/was a Love Live fan but Emi Nitta, voice actress of Honoka, developed vocal nodules too and even though she took 2 months to recover it felt like her singing was never quite the same afterwards. Really sucked to see as a fan
Vocal nodules can get worse over time though. . . I'm glad that it isn't a major issue at the moment. Marine, unfortunately, has a tendency to sing in ways that she finds difficult and fun rather than 'good.' She kills herself for entertainment when she sings.
Now, I personally have not had the experience in Japan, but a lot of guys in my team had elongated experiences in the house of the rising sun. . . the price of good escort is much more affordable than you would think. Affordable enough for the dregs like them. That a plane ticket factored into this equation is still less than some of these superchats is insane.
It's a shit situation all around since yeah, Marine needs to get plenty of rest if she wants to make a full recovery but the nature of her job means she's sacrificing potential income by doing so. Hopefully management puts her foot down and makes sure whatever prerecorded content she does isn't too taxing on her voice.
If true, fair criticism with Cover’s mismanagement, but that Nintendo comparison is a head-scratcher. Does she think these girls go though RnD and produced in a factory? If “the products are virtually identical,” that’s more on the talents having similar personalities since everyone pretty much breaks out of their character mold and settles into their own style months after debut. Which is why saying someone has no personality after 5 days of streaming is completely insane.
Also it’s been said here before, but saying Nintendo doesn’t innovate is asinine. They just have dated business practices but are pretty good at breaking the mold hardware-wise.
Maybe Pippa was referring more to how a lot of the Hololive girls eventually end up playing the same bandwagon games or doing the same gimmicks? Though that's not really an issue specific to Cover, it's just the reality of what you need to do to stay relevant as a content creator. Just look at other content creators on Youtube -- many of them have turned to using clickbait titles/thumbnails even if their actual content isn't sensational, just because if they don't they'll get shafted by the algorithm. I imagine being a Japanese company trying to navigate copyright laws doesn't really help either since that really limits the library of streamable games. I don't disagree that Cover certainly does seem to play it safe in a lot of respects though.
Edit: to add to the Susantube stuff, it seems like they really are cracking down on "problematic" shit now. That super popular song Yoru ni Kakeru now has an inappropriate content warning that pops up when you click it, presumably because the original story was about suicide and someone flagged it.
Rosemi - Miki confirmed. Apparently she padded out her Info sheet with RTS, FPS and FGCs to gain as much early fans as possible, but she has never touched those kinds of games in her past life.
Petra - Rigging is cute, but the singing is so-so. I'll give her a 2nd chance with her upcoming Karaoke, but her voice isn't particularly interesting for me to listen to
Selen - Didn't expect that nasally voice but the constant giggling is kinda cute. Might she what more she has to offer but if the rrats are true and she is an Apex autist, I probably won't.
- I'm also a big believer that Karen is actually good friends with most the TT crew and rather just hang out with them personally from time to time rather than the only interaction they can have with her is through Hololive and her being Cali now. I believe that is why they don't tend to mention Cali that much when regarding anything Hololive. You can even see it when Garnt did the Shadow verse thing with Cali, when we was having that whole "Oh Cali don't like collabing with her EN gen".
It actually would be really weird as fuck to interact with Cali when you are friends with Karen. Its probably easier for keki and the others because they interact with Cali as their own personas, so its easier to disconnect.
My concern would be if Pippa is so unhappy as to quit PC as soon as her contract is up (if she has to fulfill anything) and go back to indie or another group.
