Is Phase Connect an actual company like Holo and Niji or more of a group like Vshojo?

I really really hate to say this but I feel like Vshojo would have been a decent fit for Pippa. Sure Pippa doesn't talk about dicks and tits but she would be free to say whatever as the conspiracy theorist member. I mean, they let the retard of the group double down on her shit talking a company they were trying to collab with.
On there website they say they are an actual company

From their website

ABOUT US

Just a bit...

"Phase-Connect is founded by a couple of friends without much planning... Now we've got more people joining us without thinking! Come have fun with us. It's definitely going to be a journey!"

We are a next generation virtual entertainment company located in Vancouver, Canada. Partnering with artists and talents from across the globe, we design and use original virtual avatars, VTubers, to create and deliver all kinds of stream content. Our goal is to connect people across the globe with lots of fun and laughter.

Starting from the ground, we are aiming to go all the way down - the rabbit hole.

A lot of management decisions can seem reasonable if people would take a step back, breathe, and think about the reasoning behind it. Too bad that this is the internet and shit doesn't work that way.

Managers glow in the dark and Pippa should run them over in her car.
My rrat is that the treehouse or one of the other groups actually got pissy about it and management is just telling her to chill out until they get bored and move on

I don't know that I can support Nene anymore after the admitted she made Ina a "Comfort wife" and explained in detail what she did to Ina's family before enslaving her.
If you think that's bad you should hear about what Coco did to Nanking

Managers suck amirite? But, if you think hololive managers are incompetent, then what do you think about the phase connect managers? Personally I just thought they didn't exist at all, because nobody would be stupid enough to let pippa do half the shit she did. At some points, regardless of what account she was using, it seemed like she was actually making an effort to take herself and the company down with her. For all the time she kept going without getting bonked--she's great though, it was a wild ride... for the viewers, who have nothing to lose--I kept wondering when the managers were going to step in and do their job, as shit as their job is. If anything they were trying to be nice and give her some freedom, but they hesitated too much to stop her before she went too far, at least from the manager's perspective. She criticized hololive, and before that she acknowledged that this site even existed at a moment like this, among other not so wise things. If you're part of a 7-member vtuber company that's just starting up, you don't do that.

I assume this is what I will be told after this:

Market research, thats how you got EN but still they need to diversify their repertorie, im going to repeat myself but Calli and Rikka had said again and again that Holopro need something like a DJ instead of outsourcing everything i dont even know what INNK Music does when almost all the songs are from some other producers/mixers
The more you bring up the DJ idea, the more I want it myself. Not necessarily just to make internal music producing easier but I really wanna see if COVER can pull off finding somebody that can actually make streaming the music making process interesting/engaging. Calli straight up dropped streaming herself working in her DAW, so there's a hole that needs filling. Not to mention we need more genre variety.

Not too excited about any of the niji en gen2 girls individually so far, but the preview of the song seems like a banger!

I also realise I might be in the minority, but the rosemi/petra/finana type voices that lots of vtuber put on really grates at my ears. I don't know how people can watch full streams of it.

Something along the lines of SHARPNELSOUND?

No, I can't watch those much either. When it comes to Nijisanji, I only put up with Finana because I enjoy Lazulight constantly interacting with each other on streams.

Rosemi - Miki confirmed. Apparently she padded out her Info sheet with RTS, FPS and FGCs to gain as much early fans as possible, but she has never touched those kinds of games in her past life.

Petra - Rigging is cute, but the singing is so-so. I'll give her a 2nd chance with her upcoming Karaoke, but her voice isn't particularly interesting for me to listen to

Selen - Didn't expect that nasally voice but the constant giggling is kinda cute. Might she what more she has to offer but if the rrats are true and she is an Apex autist, I probably won't.

There's literally clips of Miki playing Tekken 7 at a pretty damn high online Rank. Not sure if anyone else knows how Tekken ranks look, but she was in like the 9th Dan+ area which requires some pretty high competence at the game and knowing your matchups.

Not sure about RTS and FPS, but hey, Ina said she's a Kingdom Hearts and Gacha fan ('They call me the Leviathan!') and she's played neither. You're allowed to play and enjoy games you've no internet footprint of streaming. Wherever you're getting your Miki info from is so hilariously biased against her.

And let's be real, if you're trying to sling wide nets, who the fuck chooses RTS games in a weeb community as their bait.

You're my nigga for this.
But not just along the lines of the this. I'm talking about the nitty gritty sound design and arrangement process. Something that admittedly would be very hard to make engaging cuz commentary would be very minimal when it's done live cuz the producer needs to constantly play back their sounds to make sure everything is right. But still we do need more appreciation of the harder and darker styles of sound out here. Way too much happy music these days.

May I present to you Arknights:
its not full RTS but its a TD, which is some form of stratergy.
So.. this is also why furries are batshit crazy. I heard the AK board/some bugmen group really hate their "competitors" namely Azur Lane and Girls Frontline so much they reported AL to the CCP's chastity board or some shit, resulting in the removal of several characters. AL CN is no stranger to censorship (if you compare some skins between CN and Global/JP, Global/JP always get some super spicy ones) but the nuking of several chars was just a big WTF moment for everyone. What's retarded is AL and AK are published by the same company :story:

The rivalry between the games is so bad, GFL devs self censored themselves (they already heavily censored their game to the point where when it was released on EN/JP you needed to put in a specific code to uncensor), not once but twice just to avoid the CCP coming down on them too and/or before the retarded furries in AK reported them.

Furries.. not even once

Lia is actually this fucking stupid. It isn't a bit. Her prior stream had her brain hurting trying to comprehend how Negative numbers work at the end.

This Pippa shit has me on the fence. I honestly liked Phase Connect for having someone like Pippa, Tenma (who sounds like an angry Asian Market lady), Uruka, and even Iori (despite some people finding her to be "boring") but I don't know if I want to keep indirectly supporting them with memberships or not if they're yanking everyone's chains to fall in certain lines behind the scenes like with what is happening with Pippa. Might just follow with what @Takodachi is doing and cancel my memberships until they sort their shit together. Trying to be a start up that is like Hololive but a mix of JP/EN is something Prism Project, Kawaii Pro, and Cyberlive(?) are all doing similarly and it just doesn't really attract me to have to follow another collective doing the same sort of thing as everyone else is.

To break away from the Pippa talk though, Something about the background instrumentals in Obsydia's song Black Out gives me a Diamond City Lights feeling, which is fitting considering they're the dark/evil version of Lazulight.

So Selen and Rosemi are pretty much confirmed to be Dokibird and Miki respectively, right? Is Petra Shachimu like people believe? Because I did see her Twitter account is still somewhat active right now.

I also disagree with her premise regarding Cover. Are they overly seiso and conservative in approach? Definitely, but we also haven't seen Cover really crack down on its talent. Matsuri and Marine have gotten away with plenty over the months after all, and even Haato has yet to truly be smacked hard for her antics. There's definitely an argument Cover isn't being as open to stuff as they can be (thus Coco leaving and Haato going on hiatus), but it's not as rigid as some like to make out. A lot of the criticism does come across as envy given the numbers a talent can draw just by being a member of Hololive.
At the end of the day it all comes down perspective. Since day one Hololive was framed to be an Idol agency. Which means being a performer is always going to out-weight being an content creator. The criticism about number pulls does have a bit of merit to it. Being an Idol agency is all about building a brand and maintain a consistent rate of fandom cycle. The scale of such cycle would increase as the brand becomes more popular. That doesn't mean the members weren't talented. Hell, just look at AKB48, their members are all very talented in their own right, but that doesn't mean anything when their chance to shine depends on winning a Rock Paper Scissor contest at the end of the year.
